2.5Bottle into a goblet. Pours dark reddish pink, pink head. No real aroma. Taste is bland. Some thin fruit punch notes, lightly tart. No real salinity. Overall bland and boring. Aftertaste is that of a flavorless apple or artificial cherry.
3.0Bottle: Poured a burnt red with no head. Aroma is berry and flowery. Taste is lightly soured fruit with a mellowing finish of grain.
2.8Cloudy pinkish orange in color.... Aroma of sweet berries... Flavor is off, funky fruits... Not enjoyable
2.1Hmmm, not too sure about this one. Cloudy pink appearance and fruity smell. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Wouldn’t choose to drink this again. (K)
2.5(22oz bottle) Pours a clear orange-amber body with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, berries, florals, and coriander. Flavor of berries, hibiscus, coriander, and salt.
3.7Murky red-orange color with a thin off-white head. Lactic acidic tang dominates the aroma, with tart berry and perfumey flower notes. Vegetal and unsweetened berry flavors with a soft tartness. Dry finish with some lingering fruit. Mouthfeel is medium light, somewhat dry.
3.0How: Bottle.
Where: SBWF 2013.
Appearance: Pink colour with a large pinkish head.
Aroma: Raspberry, fruit, berries, yeast.
Body: Medium body, low carbonation.
Flavour: Berries, raspberry, floral, some spices.
3.0Hazy red, like a cranberry cocktail with a thin white head. Aroma is interesting, with warm mulled cider spice notes, but the taste has a sweetened clamato edge to it. Fruity umami.
2.5Pours a murky red with quickly fading pink head leaving not much lacing. Aroma is lightly sour with some berries, a little flowery. Taste is wheat and hibiscus, coming across lightly tart with an annoying sweetness. I wanted to like this more, but I couldn’t.
3.1Bottled. Murky reddish color with a small head. Light sour notes in aroma, some sweeter fruity or perhaps more like sweet berries in aroma as well. Slightly tart berry vibe in taste, a bit of salty notes too.
3.2Poured from 22oz into large mug. Pours very red almost a ruby red grapefruit to strawberry color with pink head the quickly went away cloudy does not even come close to describe it . Smell of berry. Slight sour taste with berry and a slight spice on the tip of the toung. Almost has a fruit punch taste to it. Overall okay.
3.2Bottle: Thanks, Kevin. Orange with a pink grapefruit hue, cloudy and muddled. White collar, not much else. Aroma is berry-ish, hard to pinpoint. Almost like strawberry? Kind of grassy and floral as well. Taste is a little bitter, not really tart with some faint berry skins and a mild, dirt and earth type grassiness. Fruity, earthy finish, not really salty or sour.

Bottle: The aroma consists of berries, hibiscus, and light wheat. It pours a pinkish-orange with a small pink head that quickly fades to a thin ring. The flavor starts with a quick dose of berries and hibiscus. The finish has light wheat, a touch of lemon, and some faint grass. It’s light bodied with moderate carbonation.
3.4Bottle @ sbwf13. Reddish color, thin lasting head. Floral aroma, elderberry, cidery. Flavor has wheat, floral notes, pears. Long finish. Light. Refreshing.

2.7Bottle@sbwf’13. Red, kriek- like in colour. Wheaty berries, gardeny leaves and flavours. Body quite light though. Tastes like a berry-infused light wheat ale.
2.7Spoiled by Rubeaus. This was so lacking. A touch of tartness that was almost pleasant. Not much else going on. No sweetness, all muted flavors. No real hint of fruit, or anything else for that matter. Watery finish.
3.2Opaque orange brown red pour with little to no head. Aroma of cranberries and hibiscus. Tastes the same with a slight breadiness. It’s like a perfectly lightly sweetened cranberry juice. Salt is noticeable too. Some pleasant mouthfeel from the yeast. Semi dry finish. Respectable execution, but not much more than the sum of the parts. Though it’s mediocre for the style, the style is an awesome one so it’s worth drinking!
3.1Pours a pretty red with pink head. Nice aromas of flowers, bubblegum, and strawberries. Similar flavour profile but a thin and watery finish. Decent.
3.0The aroma was floral and berry. The pour was a cloudy ruby color with full pink head. The taste is mostly sweet, a tart berry sweet but it finishes with some nice lingering saltiness. The body was medium fullness and creamy on the mouth. The berries were overdone a bit making this a little too sweet for my liking the finish is good but I would have liked a little more tartness for a gose.
2.9Pours a slightly reddish/orange color with a half inch off-white head. Head retention is OK, and there wasn’t much lacing at all. The brew smells like marionberries, flowers and wheat. It tastes like marionberries, wheat, and a bit of flower petals. Also a bit sharp.
3.512 ounce bottle, date stamped on label of Mar 28 13. Served in a stange glass, the beer pours a slightly reddish/orange color with a half inch off-white head. Head retention is OK, and there wasn’t much lacing at all. The brew smells like marionberries, flowers (which I assume is from the hibiscus), and wheat. It tastes like marionberries, wheat, and a bit of floralness (once again, from the hibiscus). Moutfheel/body is light/medium, it’s easy to drink and has a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a decent enough brew, although I’m not sure if I would call this a gose or not. Regardless, it wasn’t bad at all. $8.49 a 4-pack.
2.5Taster on tap at Keystone in Clifton. Was labeled simply as "Widmer Brothers Marionberry", from my sample I did not pick up that this was a gose at all, just tasted like a fruit beer to me. Mildly hazy ruby red orange color. Thin white head. Few loose bits of lace. Musty, fruity nose. Light body. Light carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Moderate sweet taste, mild tart. Some kind of berry flavor, but it’s not great and pretty musty. Not something I could get into, subpar fruit beer.
3.5Bottle. Musty lactic berry aroma. Hazy amber-red with minimal head. Strong sour malt flavor initially with a nice berry finish. Light body. Pretty good.
3.3Pours a red berry color with no head. Decent carbonation. Aroma of berry with hint of hibiscus. Strong berry flavor without being too sweet. Hibiscus balances out this beer. Decent.
5.0Beer poured nicely with a little bit of head. The taste of berries was very strong and it was paired well with the hibiscus. Overall I loved this beer a lot and would love to have it again.
2.722oz bomber pours a pinkish red with a pink head. small rapsberry aroma. taste is raspberry and light fruit
3.512oz bottle split with Anndiesel. Glowing unfiltered red-orange color. Fruit forward, pretty far removed from a traditional Gose. Hibiscus is certainly one of my least favorite adjuncts, but here it isn’t so bad. A little better than a regular fruitbeer in mouthfeel and depth, but you can’t help but desire the base Gose before the Hibiscus and Marionberrry.
3.212oz bottle pours out with a murky plum juice looking body that briefly supported a tiny weak white head. The modest aroma pushes up plums and berries and a light sugary yeasty spice note. Hmm. The taste is sweet and tart with berries, plum juice and candied flowers as well as a bit of spicy yeast. This is decent enough but the underlying sugary sweetness isn’t really doing it for me.
3.5Bottle. Lactic berry and tart hibiscus aroma. Hazy deep rose with a small pastel pink head. Tart berry-hibiscus flavor. Light body, moderate carbonation. Pleasant and refreshing, if a little bland. Could have used a tad more salt zip, in my opinion.
3.4On tap at World of Beer. Color is mostly red, I like the look. Aroma is tart, with hints of fruit. Taste is strong tartness, then mellows out. This would be good on a hot day.
