Wieselburger Stammbräu

Wieselburger Stammbräu

This is a full-strength beer containing 5.4% by vol. alcohol, which is spicy and not too strongly hopped. Stammbräu harks back to the optimistic mood of the early days, still prevailing here, and is advertised with period illustrations from shortly after the turn of the century. Stammbräu is only available in the traditional cliplock bottles, which have been re-introduced. Particularly in the Vienna area. 12.6°

Lichte body.... dorstlessend.
3.2 Bottle looks very simple. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, malty, a bit wheaty. Well balanced finish. Okay.
4.0 Apperance: honey golden color, nice white head Aroma: Malty, fresh grassy hops, refreshing smell, fresh baked bread Taste: nice, harmony, between sweet and bitter, and a hint of sourish.. nice pilsener beer one of my favorite pilsener beers, and that rate is PILSENER RATE. of course pilsener beer can't have that intense smell and taste as some IPA, but that's how pilsener is! fresh and refreshing, and you can somehow binge them with less hangover haha. it has almost all qualities you have to look for in that kind of beer, so don't mark my grade
2.8 How: Bottle. Where: Felix Austria, Berlin. Appearance: Golden colour with a white head. Aroma: Malt, floral, grass, hops. Body: Medium body and carbonation. Flavour: Malt, hops, a bit floral.
3.5 Super pale gold with some white head. Noble hop aroma, cereal, grassy aroma. Tastes like Anchor Steam, a little spice, lemongrass, citrus, imteresting. Citrus hop and interesting yeast flavor remain. The label calls it a steam beer and it certainly tastes more like that than a traditional pils. Cool classic design. Nice gift.
2.5 Bottle Einstein Kafee Berlin
2.4 Off the market shelf in Graz, Austria. A predictable by-the-numbers kind of pils which is probably remembered mostly for the bottle and the cliplock.
Ok pivo lose boje..pitko..klasicni pilsner..
2.6 Bottle from relatives. Clear golden with medium. Earthy and leavy yeast, some herb, bready malt. A rather typical bavarian pils with nothing that stands out.
2.5 03-01-18 // 500ml swingtop bottle from a Billa in Wien. Clear golden, small head. Grainy, dry hay, mild sweetness, very mild bittern. Okay.
2.9 pale, clear, white foam, light sweetness, light body, average carbonation,
2.6 From bottle. Transfer of an earlier rating without text recorded, rating only.
3.0 0,5L bottle @ Meininger hostel, Salzburg. Clear, golden colour, firm white head. Nicely crisp lager, malty and grainy. Light-medium body, medium carbonation.
2.9 0.5 l bottle. Pours straw yellow with white head that disappears quickly. Aroma is mainly pollen, some bread and malt in the background, no perception of hops at all. Taste is light sweet complemented with moderate bitterness, slight metallic feel too. Body is medium, texture slick, carbonation is average, finish is rather short with strange peppery harsh bitter kick.
3.1 Yellow colour, quite carbonated. Sweet malty taste and finishes with good amount of bitter. Very nice plisner.
2.5 Bottle. Clear golden colour with a medium white head, nose is fresh grassy and aromatic malty with some metallic notes, taste is mainly bready and malty with a certain sweetness that reminds of sweet corn, slight cardboard notes and a rather strange adstringent finish.
2.1 500ml Flasche. Klar und golden mit kleiner Schaumkrone. Getreidig. Muffig. Leichter Körper. Herb.
2.7 0.5l bottle. Malty aroma. Clear yellow color, thick white head. Malty taste, light hay notes, light bitter. Light body, watery texture, average carbonation and light bitter, malty finish. Average.

Medium Body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes lightly sweet, peppery, tobacco, grainy, milky, bit grassy. finishes lightly bitter with notes of grass, tobacco and pepper. okish, but not overly exciting.
2.8 Bottle. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is malty, some Fruchtgummi, some straw, a bit bready. Taste is bready, slightly fruity, quite malty as well. Creamy mouthfeel. Okay!
2.7 Aroma: malty. Taste: rather dry, sweet aftertaste. Some bitterness. Quite watery and malty. Easy drinking.
2.9 Bottle. Pours clear golden colour with a small white head. Aroma of malt with light floral hops. Taste of sweet malt, light grain and grassy hops. Light body with a medium carbonation. A more malty pilsener.
3.0 Malt and hop aroma Malty taste with slight citrus in flavour Very thick malt makes this sweet A very malty pils.
