Wild Beer Epic Saison

Wild Beer Epic Saison

Epic by name, epic by nature, this Farmhouse Ale is a transcontinental fusion of Belgium’s eclectic beer culture and the feisty hops of North America brought to life with the aid of West Country artisanal brewing wizardry and judicious use of the US-grown Sorachi Ace hop. On the nose, the hops deliver a big splash of tropical fruit, followed by ripples of well-seasoned spiciness spreading outwards. In the mouth a tangy, bittersweet fruitiness holds sway, while tangerine oranges tap dance their way across the tongue in the finish.

3.6 Bitter, zesty, spic and yeasty. Hints of lemon seeds, lemon zest, saison yeast and grapefruit.
3.5 Tap at Craftsman Aberdeen. Pours a cloudy soft orange with a thin white head. I think it looks lovely. Nose is full of Saison characteristics with a light mineral overtone. There's lemon citrus, dry white pepper, bready dough and a dry grain finish. Sweet blackcurrant n raspberry chew comes through. Medium feel with moderate carbonation. Light and sour Saison with good drinkabilty.
3.7 Yellow /golden with medium white head. Slight rotten fruit aroma. Remarkable bitterness with some fruity sourness. Slightly bitter aftertaste.
3.3 Bottle. Pours a dark gold colour with a thin white head, plenty of fruit in the aroma, the taste is medium bitterness and is soft in the mouth with a dry bitter finish.
3.5 0.33 bottle C: pale orange, yellowish N: funky, limes, lemons, yeast P: mid carbonation, doughy, yeasty, lots of lemon zest, lime juice, spicy, cardamon, floral note.
3.4 Far Side beers bottle (24-Nov-18) Sweet sour funk aroma. Cloudy amber colour, white head and spidery lacing. Sweet citrus funk flavour. Steely sour finish and floral funk aftertaste.
3.4 Bottle. Clear golden body with a small white head. Aroma is fruity hops, but more like tropical fruits than expected from Sorachi Ace (e.g. no bubble gum aroma). Nice saison flavor, spicy yeast, pepper and slightly farmhouse funk. Nothing mind blowing but sure a nice and easy drinkable, almost classic Saison.
3.5 KØLF 191018. Golden color with a white head. Aroma is citrus, yeast, funk. Flavor is citrus, fruit, malt, yeast, spices, funk. Easy drinkable beer.
3.4 Clear golden colour, white head. Loght hoppy aroma, yeast, banana. Malty flavour, light bitter, some yeast. Finish banana, some apple skins, light floral note. (from draught @ Pre-Villaggio della Birra 2014)
3.6 330ml bottle. Gold colour with white head. Big Sorachi Ace blue cheese, lemon juice, orange peel, spices, peach, light sour, light black pepper, farmyard, yeasty. Great Sorachi Ace blue cheese flavour profile. Otherwise fairly standard solid saison but the Sorachi Ace is so good here
3.5 Bottle, thanks kiwey! Minty, fruity, herbal, nice. Sweetish, nice tartness, could use abit more funk. Smooth as hell. Nice one!
3.3 330ml bottle. Pours a deep gold. Lemon, grass, herbal, pepper, honey, bit of a bread finish. Light body. Fine.
3.5 From beer hawk. Excellent saison. Would recommend as a summer saison..
3.5 Bottle from Wild Beer online shop. Pours hazy golden, white head. Aroma is zesty citrus, herbs, medicinal. Taste is malty, earthy, banana bread, grassy, lightly tangy sour. Light body and aftertaste. Nice

MF: lively carbon, medium body. taste: malty start, fruity, banana peel, bit sourish. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, grassy, bit peppery, malty finish.
3.7 Ocena na podstawie wspomnień z degustacji dodana na potrzeby uzupełnienia profilu.
3.6 Bottle. Hazy orange with a big stable head. Aroma is spicy, zesty, floral, earthy. Moderately sweet, spicy, lime, lemon peel, orange, wood, grassy flavors. Light bodied, smooth. Nice.
3.3 330ml bottle into an American 16oz glass, badged by the 'Good People' Brewing Company from Birmingham, Alabama. Drank at home on 4th June 2018. Misty golden pour, white topping. Yeasty, hoppy and spicy nose, taste also had the same input, light citrus notes throughout added to the semi-farmyard feel this Saison had. I prefer this milder Saison style compared to the 'in your face' dirty barn aroma and taste some have.
3.7 [10190-20180301] 330mL bottle. Orange peel and herbal floral notes in the aroma. Hazy, orange yellow body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Bitter orange peel and lemon pip flavour. Medium body is fairly bitter. Good. (7/4/7/4/15) 3.7 (@ The Bucket List, Swansea, Wales)
3.6 Sampled @ Tilquin English Beer Festival 2018. A almost clear golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of yeasty fruits, yellow fruits, some grapes. Taste of coconut, floral hops, grassy bitter hops, some yeast, alright.
3.0 Flaske fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Drukket på Lillehøgda. Lys gylden. Uklar. Filmskum. Lett krydderaroma. Smaken fersken & syrlig frukt. Lett tørr ettersmak. Mye bunnfall. Ekstra uklar siste kvelling.
3.8 Aroma: Medium lemon, spicy, coriander. Appearance: Brilliant, golden body. Small, white head. Low retention. Fine bubbles. Flavour: Medium-light lemon, spicy, coriander, biscuit. Medium-light bitterness that build. Light barnyard. Dry finish with lemon-rind, barn yard. Mouthfeel: Medium body. Medium carbonation. Overall: adding the yeast gives the beer a bit more complexity. Could be drier. 330 ml bottle, poured. 25B. Saison. Pale, Table.
3.2 Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Fruity aroma with lime and dill. Sweetish fruity flavour with citrus and too much sorachi ace character for my taste.
3.0 Draught @ Christian Firtal, Odense. Pours Hazy Golden with a White head. Corn, cellar and Toffee. Fruity notes beneath. Short bitter finish.
4.6 Fruity aroma and light yellow are making you think about this beer as pretty easy and straightforward beer. And then things are getting more complicated due to the slightly sour character and beautiful but too strong bitterness. Add to this beautiful medium white head and you will get one of the best beer around - at least in my opinion...: complicated in taste but at the same time very drinkable.
3.6 Tap at Takanoya. Hazy golden color. Lemony nose, honey, Belgian yeast, Sorachi Ace. Huge Sorachi flavor dominates, lemon, cream, butter, nice malt. Crisp and light but too big on the sorachi for me.
3.6 2018-03-01. Dark yellow body decent foamy white head. Aroma has a vaguely spice like quality, a touch of grapefruit peel and tropical fruit. Flavour is interesting. Lightly spiced fruity bitterness up front, modest pale malt, light bitterness. Average bodied palate, good carbonation. 7/4/7/3/15 Bottle at The Bucket List, Swansea.
3.4 from Qbeer - very clear golden beer with a modest head retention; cheesy, lemony; gently sour, medium-bodied, quite dry; yellow fruity finish, light yeasty
