Cuvée Clarisse. Dit robijnrode bier met een verwarmend alcoholgehalte heeft een verleidelijk aroma, met toetsen van zoethout en een vleugje karamel. Op de tong mengen zich weelderige moutaccenten en zweempjes fruit, afgerond door een hoppige kruidigheid. Dit heerlijk degustatiebier zal menig bierliefhebber kunnen bekoren.

Dark red color, firm brownish head. Aromas of licorice root, (sour) green apples, some red fruits. The taste is basically similar, somewhat more complex. Some caramel, herbal and earthy, ashy notes. Warming, yet fresh. Smooth and full. Quite nice.
Pours a a copper-brown color with off white head. Slight cherry sweet aroma. Miley sweet light tart cherry hints.

Donkerbruin bier met ruime beige schuimkraag. Licht zoet van aanzet, karamel, zoethout met een lange ietwat bittere afdronk

Another usual brown beer, strong in caramel sweet taste.
Okay-ish
Mooi bier met karamel- zoethout- en kruidentonen. Wat jammer van de metalige reuk en duidelijk aanwezige smaak.
Fruitig biertje. Voelt warm aan, maar toch fris

Pours hazy dark amber with a thick, frothy, tan head; some lacing. Aroma of prune, raisin, date syrup, ripe pear, caramel, brioche, liquorice. Taste is heavy malty sweet with lots of candied fruit (raisin, date), pear syrup, caramelly & cake-like character, only slightly herbal, spicy, vaguely toasty perhaps (liquorice & coriander). Finish is malty with faint herbal hops, lingering syrup, dried fruits & warming liqueur alcohol. Full body, syrupy texture, soft carbonation. Kind of predictable in its execution but I don't mind having this as a late-night sipper.

Pours a murky mahogany colour with a huge throthy beige head. Aromas of dry dark fruits, plums, caramel, spice, yeast and bubblegum. Taste is similar to the aroma with more dry dark fruits, caramel, spice and slightly warming alcohol. Medium bodied, a fairly lively palate and a slightly oily mouthfeel. Dark fruits and spicy finish. Ok beer
Dark brown with a frothy but fast dissipating head.
Smell of citric peels, nutmeg and roasted malts. In taste first the roasted malts hit, then the citric part and then leaving a spicy taste with a nutmeg note in the mouth. Strong carbonation.
Kolor ciemno brązowy z delikatnie rubinowymi refleksami. Piana beżowa, wysoka zbudowana głównie z drobnych pęcherzyków, charakteryzuje ją długi czas redukcji.
W aromacie słodka słodowość miesza się z nutami ciemnych i czerwonych owoców. W tle akcenty tytoniowe i popiołowo ziemiste.
Smak: tutaj nuty owocowe są wiodące, dalej lekka paloność, nieco akcentów ziemistych, karmelu i słodkiej słodowości. Na finiszu odrobina goryczki o charakterze pestkowym.
Alkohol przyjemnie rozgrzewa. Wysycenie średnio niskie. Pełnia więcej niż średnia. Piwo jest gładkie, miękkie. Posmak dość krótki owocowy.
Flaska från Belgiuminabox. Drygt tre år gammal. VAlnötsfärgad med ett högt krämigt skum. Torkad frukt, russin, madeira, fruktkaka i cognac, rostade nötter, chokladpralin, lång eftersmak, stor smakbild och mycket harmonisk. Lite abt-stuk och inte alls dåligt. Tvärtom, mycket gott.
Caramel. Mellow. Slight fizz. Sublime
Zachte smaak en lekker fris.
Toets van rode vruchten.

Donkerbruin bier, redelijk hoog in alcoholgehalte en smaken van zoethout, caramel, koffie, kruidig en een vleugje chocolade.
Brown appearance. Aroma is caramel, sweet, malt and sugar. Flavour is bitter, cherry, dark fruits, boozy, rich and spiced.
Bottle. Gusher. Pours amber-brown. Aroma and flavor are sweet, boozy, sugary, malty, Belgian yeast. Overall: okish, minus the gushing.

330ml bottle from Vanuxeem. Consumed Jan 2018 but only just realised i hadnt rated due to haddocks rating below. My notes at the time were “super rich, a little oversweet, but packs a punch”. Seems accurate.
33cl bottle; BB Nov 2019. Poured into a 'La Vieille Salme' chalice at home on 10th May 2019. Lovely dark ruby body with a light tan blanket on top, bit lively on opening, but it soon calmed down and settled. Dates with plum aromas and flavours, spices and chocolate notes also within the complex nose and taste. Some mini tart/sourness, like a weak Flemish Red influence seeps through late on. Interesting and different, liked it.
Bottle from Wines and More. Red brown slightly clouded with thick foamy head. Metallic aroma. Rich caramel with some nutmeg and Maillard with sweet finish undercut by appropriate carb. Nice
Si cette cuvée Clarisse présente un travail sur le malt très honorable (même si dans le genre, il y a à la fois plus abouti et plus complexe), cette wilderen pêche quelque peu par son équilibre avec un sucre trop présent et donc une douceur pénalisante ainsi qu'une amertume que je trouve personnellement un peu trop poussée car venant être quelque peu dissonant (mais également étant quelque peu être salvateur pour contrebalancer le sucre et donner une touche de fraîcheur). L'alcool, à 9,2% est un peu juste et n'arrive pas à tirer l'ensemble notamment sur un final retombant trop vite. Du côté des arômes c'est le travail sur le malt qui domine avec caramel, sucre candy, chocolat, date accompagnés de banane (levure) et d'épices (poivre et coriandre). Visuellement, cette cuvée clarisse est sympathique avec un brun limpide surmonté d'une mousse beige d'1 cm. On retrouve l'ensemble de nos arômes au nez, hormis le poivre qui se révèle à l'attaque. D'ailleurs celle-ci est relativement épicée. En déco de bouche, l'amertume relativement poussée pour le genre surprend bien que contrebalançant la douceur ambiante. L'arrière bouche et d'ailleurs très portée sur l'amertume avec caramel, sucre candy et épices qui ressortent. La corpulence est tout à fait correcte mais n'arrive pas à compenser un final trop court qui laisse en bouche la base maltée mais de façon trop discrète. Globalement appréciable mais non aboutie.

Many thanks for this beer to Ewa Skorska. Taste with Extra matured Bohemian Speciality. Kostelec Round Salami with natural noble-molt on top. Alez zestawienie, coz za zgranie, niczym orkiestra symfoniczna Ennio Morricone. Piwo nalane do kielicha Rocheforta jest czarne jak wdzianko tej siostry zakonnej, piana wielka jak 100 letni dab, kremowa, bezowa na spodzie u gory bardziej waniliowa. Trwala, smakowo figi, pierniki torunskie z miodowym nadzieniem, orzechy wloskie, szlachetne porto w tle i rozgrzewajacy efekt. klasa, prawie nic nie odbiega od Westvleterena czy St Bernardusa Abt 12. Polecam zwlaszcza do salami lub pasztetu.
Hardly any aromas. Sweet roasted malts. Head disappears quickly. Hardly any carbonation. Flat.
Beetje zurig, prima bier voor een zonnige dag.
Aroma is een mix van malt, kandij-suiker en iets van oude sherry. In de smaak komt de mout terug en heb je iets van gedroogde pruimen in de achtergrond en iets dat een beeetje doet denken aan droge sherry op de achtergrond. In het begin veel smaak maar die sensatie wordt dan snel minder en wordt dan iets bitter en zurig. Het bier is heel donker-rood bier en het heeft veel kraag die ook terug snel verdwijnt. Niet slecht.
Mocno nagazowane. Super obfita piana. Kolor piwa ciemny bordo, opalizujące, nie przejrzyste. Aromat karmelu, przypraw. W smaku lekko kwaśne, dość cienkie, prawie nie czuć alkoholu. Dopiero po przełknięciu grzeje w przełyk. Całkiem niezłe.
