A bright, golden summer ale brewed with a blend of Belgian pale malt, Cascade and Bobek hops with a late infusion of fresh elderflowers and lemon zest. Fruity, aromatic and deliciously refreshing.

3.5Une petite bière surprenante avec un goût appréciable. Une bien belle découverte.
2.6500ml bottle given as a birthday present from Brian - cheers mate. Sampled on the 8th March 2020. Pours a clear pale amber in colour with a thick white frothy head. Aroma is light and citrus with hints of elderflower. Thin resiny mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malt delivers a weak biscuit malt base with hop resins imparting a tart zesty citrus wash of pineapple and pink grapefruit notes in the mouth. Citrus notes in the dry dusty aftertaste give slight astringency on the palate. Finish is hoppy and floral with citrus pith present. Typical Scottish take on a Golden Ale.
3.7So why is this so popular with the Scots? Probably because of its floral, Scottish taste. Although it may not be for some, this would be a beer that even the ladies would love (Not trying to be sexist)! Smooth, crisp, easy drinking; yet providing a subtle depth of flavours and richness.

3.0Shared bottle in Glasgow, pouring clear pale golden, with white lasting head. Very soft aroma, malty, little metallic, grapy. Taste same: lager-ish, malty, mild sweet. OK carbo. Not very special.
2.8Aroma of grains,herbal notes.Taste of malt,grassy notes,metalic notes,yeast,grains..
3.3Clear pale yellow colour, large dense and stable white head; aroma of grape, grassy, earthy-yeasty, herbal and grainy notes; taste of grape juice, malty sweetness, breadsome herbal and metallic bitterness and hints of cardboard; correct one
3.2Clear golden beer with medium white head. Aroma is herbal and malty. Taste is medium bitter and hoppy, fruity. Little bitter aftertaste. Overall nice drinakble beer.
3.1Clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma is herbs, malt and lime. Taste is light bitter.
4.00.5 l bottle from K-Citymarket Ruoholahti, Helsinki. Flowerful golden ale with a slightly bitter ending.
2.926-02-19 // taster at Brauhaus Neulich in Berlin at a bottle share with the team and brewer of the brewpub. CleR golden. Very herbal nose. Quite weird. But not in a bad way. Sweetish malts.
3.2Clear golden colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour are predominantly malty. Quite soft and creamy. A little floral hop bitterness in the finish.
3.3Bottle @ You’ll Never Walk Alone, Kolding. Pours clear golden with stable white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with floral and fruity notes and hints of hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour with citric hints and sweetish notes of malt and yeast. Bitter, hoppy aftertaste with estery hints. Light and refreshing, and not bad, if a little watery.
3.3Lemony fresh with white flowers. Has a typical ale finish of bitter grassy hops, maybe a bit of grapefruit on the finish.
3.7Williams Brothers Birds & Bees 4.3%. Golden, citrus aroma, light malt, pale malt, biscuit, citrusy, lemon, hint of elderflower. Lovely Golden Ale from Alloa 🏴
4.0Bottle shared with JMD on board Fridtjofen 21.05.18. Clear golden. Bright white head and lacing. Refreshing and inviting aroma of lemon, lime and succade. Excellent and well-balanced tasteof citrus and pilsner malt. Excellently quaffable! Crisp and lively mouthfeel. Medium bitterness.
God munnfylde for såpass lett vitaminindhold. Frisk og fruktig bitterhed i afslutningen. Desidert mersmak.
4.0En rigtig sommerøl, god smag af citrus fra humlen, og en masse lyse malte i sødmen.
3.2Bootle from tesco. Nose is bready citrus, some toffee. Palate is some chocolate, orange, citrus, bitter finish. Quite nice
4.0it's nice beer. nice smell and goes down easy. Bought in Aldi and is their best from the craftbeer selection
4.0Bottle. Pale golden colour. Elderflower really comes through with slight malt taste and very little bitterness. Very refreshing.
4.2Forgot just how good this stuff is. 500ml bottle from Aldi or Lidl - not sure which.
It calls itself a summer ale but I could drink it all year round..
Very smooth and pleasant.
Will definitely buy again.
3.3Bottle. Pours golden with white lace top. Aroma floral hops and pale malts. Taste is lightly sweet fruity and medium bitter. Palate is medium bodied, texture is sticky, carbonation average and finish is bitter. A refreshing if unremarkable beer.
3.8Perhaps a bit biased after a month off the beer but this was surprisingly pleasant after a pale straw pour and flowery aroma. Taste is a good balance of citrus and honey notes.
3.0From bottle. Transfer of an earlier rating without text recorded, rating only.
2.6Inoffensive summer ale that improved as it warmed up. Light, some citrus and light malts and watery finish.
2.9Bottle from Moulsham Superstore, Chelmsford. Backlog rating from bottle collection and historic scoring. No tasting notes kept, just rating.
1.0Assez sèche en bouche, très IPA
3.3Nice pale summer ale you notice the subtle elderflower and citra but it doesnt overpower some biscuit in there also.
