3.3 Bottle. Hazy & Ruby-red in colour. Rich, malty full-flavoured ale. Very malty; caramel, toffee. Fruity; orange-citrus, grapefruit, banana? Balanced with zesty, spicy, peppery hops. Sweetish with medium dry finish. Very drinkable. Nice beer! (2008)
3.1 Clear deep amber color with lively tan foam. Aromas of chewing gum, light mint, caramel and marzipan with light undertones of coffee and hops. Palate, medium to light body with smooth texture and is rather flat leaving little sweet finish. Taste is sweet of caramel and biscuit malts with light sweet touch of hops. Overall, nice simple with pleasant aromas but not too overly exciting for me.
2.9 En meget nøddeagtig smag, med en svag smag af bitterhed og sødme. Den nøddeagtige smag varer ved i eftersmagen.
3.3 Bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours clear brown with a foamy beige head. Aromas of roasted malts, hazelnuts, and resin. Full bodied on the palate, with a bit of toffee sweetness.

3.1 Flaske 500ml fra Kilpishalli. Mørk gyldenbrun med et lite rødskjær. Middels høyt luftig skum. Tett lacing. Bra aroma av bær. Smaken har samme preg. Litt tørr etter hvert. Bra - men litt tynn.
4.5 Soft and fruity with a nice little hint of citrus. Went straight to my favourites list.
3.4 Bottle from Fyne Wines, Argyll. Dark amber with solid light-brown head; Quite a simple yet tasty beer: Fruit driven with dried stone fruits and citrus peel, gentle spices and a touch of leather. A drinking beer that doesn’t ask for or require a long-winded tasting note!
3.1 Bottle from Beers of Europe [220115] Dark amber, clear, frothy white head, good lacing Aroma of very soft berry fruits, soft fruity caramel, nothing else Taste of caramel, some dark toffee malts, dab of dark honey, soft fruits, mainly malts, light hops, soft flavour Palate - soft carb, medium body, rather sweet. Finish of soft red berries, toffee caramel, soft sweet Overall - OK, gets a bit boring with the drinking. Reckon this would be better on cask.
3.5 Bottle from Cellarbrations Sandy Bay February 2014. Was expecting it to b more malty than it was but it was still pretty good. Russet colour with a big head that was loosely packed.

3.3 Bottle, 4.5%. Slightly hazy dark amber with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, hop, little toasted, little citrus and a little peach. Flavour is malt, fruit, caramel, little toasted, medium sweet, notes of beries, little dry and medium bitter.
3.8 Bottle - pours dark ruby with a diminishing off white head. It’s of sweet malt, cereal, light fruit, grassy and malt aromas you’d get in the mash. Taste is sweet up front which lingers for a long time before the dry finish comes in from the top of the mouth, the whole thing lasts for ages. Carbonation is low and the mouthfeel is sooth and silky.
3.7 Reddish brown colour, nice head with good lacing. Aroma is initially of resin, then more floral, with nice sweet malty backbone. Light bitterness, does not dominate the beer, but seems just enough. Medium body, lively carbonation. Very good!
4.5 Aroma: citrus and resin, some herbs. Appearance: nice claret color, huge beige head. Taste: medium bitterness (pine and herbs), roasted dark malts, fruits, amazingly balanced and highly drinkable, quite dry. Palate: medium body and medium carobnation, nice bitter finish. Overall: My winner. The best red ale I’ve ever tasted. That’s what I wanted.
3.2 Backlog. Dominated by caramel with some citrus, pine, black tea and dried fruits.

3.5 Pours a clear orange brown color with a tight, dense light brown head. The smell is caramel, fruit, citrus and licorice. The taste matches the smell but in a more subdues way ending a bit bitter and quite dry. Light in body with crisp carbonation.

4.5 Color - dark amber, reddish. Foam - White, not abundant, medium-grained and unstable, but sticky - all settled on the walls. Fragrance - fantastic - plenty of fruit, honey, flowers - very aromatic hops! Taste - a complex, fascinating - begins with fruit sweetness, goes into the hop bitterness in the background - caramel flavor, long finish is dry, bitter but pleasant aftertaste. Lovely Bitter!
3.1 Bottle. Very nice aroma of peach, strawberries, light caramelly malt and subtle notes of tea. Dry, sessionable, unfortunately a tad watery. Nice biscuit notes in the flavour but also a less pleasant, bone-dry finish. Ok.
