3.5 Bottle at home. Pours light pink, nose is strawberry, tangy, taste is fruity berry, crisp.
2.8 Bottle, 4.2%. Hazy golden with tiny white head. Aroma is malt, berries, tayberries, raspberries, candy and a little artificial. Flavour is malt, berries, tayberries, raspberries, candy, little artificial, medium sweet and a little thin.
3.2 Bottle BBE Dec 2015. Chilled. Tart fruit aromas such as blackcurrant. Floral. Reddish amber appearance. Minor head, with poor retention. Up-front sourness with a gentle underlying sweetness. Light to medium body, with a soapy texture. Low carbonation. Abrupt finish.
3.1 Pours an almost kopparberg pink with a little head that keeps slightly. Aromas of tayberries and elderflower. Taste is a mix of tayberries and light hops. Excellent when eating strawberries and raspberries (which I was doing).
Pours slightly hazy amber with small white head. Clear aroma of hops and fruit. Sweetish flavour of fruit, flowers and caramel malt. Sweetish, slightly rough aftertaste. OK for its style.
2.3 Bottle from the Dram Shop, Sheffield. Pours golden with a pink tinge. There’s certainly plenty of berry flavour, but it’s not overly sweet or over powering. The beer notes that come through aren’t too interesting. Ok, but nothing I’d want to revisit.
3.0 Brown reddish and cloudy with pink foam that dosnt last. Sweet sour aroma of rhubarb and herbs. Sour, juice mild apples rhubarb, with a hint of herbs. Watery. Overall this is like juice, no beer here.
3.4 A nice surprise shared with McTapps. Pouring in with small carbo and nearly no head. A fine aroma of grape and mild-sour berries. Fine aftertaste with the smallest hints if lambic you can imagine. Refreshing and classy.
2.9 Pours out of the bottle in a cloudy dirty light amber-reddish/pink colour with no head and flat body. Aroma of cranberries andmild apples. Taste of light sour berries, sugar, leaves and mild citrus fruits. Refreshing and not that bad.
2.0 Bottle. Mostly clear red color with no head. Aroma of hay and strawberry juice. Sweet taste with some bitterness. Lively carbonation. Thin body. -- via beerbasher/winphone
3.1 500ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours clear red tinged with gold, good white head kept going by good carbonation. Good fruit aromas, redcurrant and raspberry, with a creamy, almost vanilla note. Taste has much more bitterness than I expected, and almost overpowers the fruit sweetness. Nice, but a bit too bitter for me.
3.1 Bottle @ GBF 2013. Pale red with a tiny white head. Fruity and spicy notes. Malt, fruit and acidity. Medium to light body with a dry finish.
3.8 Punchy fresh raspberry like aroma. Flavour loses a bit of raspberry but gains a more complex fruitiness mixing elderberry and perhaps rosehip. This is really a rather good fruit beer
1.5 Very faint aroma of lager and hint of berry. Doesnt look good, no head. Taste is very faint berry 99% lager. What palate ? Will not buy again.
3.1 First time I have tried this beer. The aroma is all tayberries, very sweet and pleasant. The beer is an amber colour with a pinkish hue. The head does not retain well. The taste is overly fruity for me, the berries dominate at the expense of the beer. Not bad but probably one for the ladies rather than the men.
2.7 500 ml bottle. Clear amber colour, thin white head. Nice raspberry aroma with some grassy notes. The flavour is sourish fruity, with some sweet berries, and a mildly grassy finish. A little thin on the palate.
2.9 50 cl bottle. Originally rated on 20100507. Pours copper color with a small head. Aroma of fruits, berries, juice and grass. Flavor is the same with some more juice. Not so appealing though.
3.7 Light amber, clear good dense creamy white head that also stays long and leaves bit lacing. Aroma has stunningly much berries, bit sour and sweet, quite natural aroma. Really light body and feel, lots berries here also, slightly sour like some berries are but not overly so and sweetness from berries, long finish has berries. Really light, easy to drink in the summer kinda beer that most would think to be unbeery.
4.0 Cloudy pink with white head. Berry all the way in aroma and taste. Not too sweet. Quite highly carbonated. Slightly tart finish. Very nice.
3.7 Dobre i smaczne piwo z sokiem owocowym. Zapach jest bardzo mocno wyczuwalny taki owocowo-kwiatowy. Piana maleńka i szybko znika. Piwo przez ten dodany naturalny sok jest trochę mętne. Bardzo naturalne piwo z lekką goryczką. Podobne do Belchawena i także ze szkocji
3.1 50 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 07.05.2010 Aroma has raspberries, some grainy malt and hints of hay. Flavour is slightly sweet with raspberry juice, some grain, hay and hints of toffee. Surprisingly balanced and good, I was expecting a sweet berry overdose.
3.6 500ml bottle from Sainsburys, Prestwick - clear golden amber, foamy off-white head, strong berry fruit aroma and flavour, carbonation on the high side, minimal lacing, sweet, nice refreshing drink
4.1 Best served chilled this beer has a very sweet fruity aroma and flavour with strong taste of raspberry very pleasant if you like fruit beers
2.7 Bottle, from Beverley Garden Centre. Gold with hints of pink, thin shortlived fizzle of white head and gentle condition. Gentle sharp fruity berry notes in the nose with a slight mouldy eartiness, quite soft in the mouth with a gentle raspberry note that has some sweetness dveloping and a touch of honey, short finish with a brief raspberry note to start and meting into a malty sweetness at the end
2.8 Pink/amber body with a flimsy white head that quickly fades. Lively carbonation. Very little lacing. Aroma of grain and berries. Flavour of slightly sour grain, but the berry sweetness add a little more interest. Light body with a thin, watery mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. A simple beer with a subtle berry addition.
0.8 Golden, slightly unclear. Aroma of raspberry soda. How can anything be that nouseously sour and unrefreshingly bitter at the same time, while still raspberry sweet! Yak!
2.5 Ever so slightly hazy orange body with a fizzy white head that vanishes completely very fast, but still manages to leave some lacing. Quite faint malty and fruity aroma: caramel and overripe raspberries and strawberries. Light sweet, light acidic and light bitter taste. Faint fruity flavours with a malty caramel backbone. Decent dry mouthfeel. A bit boring, but not with many serious flaws. [50 cl bottle, enjoyed 2 months after BB date, from Jacobs på Holtet, Oslo]
