2.5 Country #133 Namibia Sent to me by a friend from Nurnberg, Germany. Usual African lager.
2.7 Clear golden. Aroma is sweet corn a whiff of hay and some paper with glue. Not much aroma anyway. Taste is sweet corn with honey. Drinkable. Not very exciting but luckily no off flavours.
3.0 I had this beer in November 2018 and rated it with 3 stars in UT. It's from Namibia, but I had this in South Africa.
2.0 Golden with a white head - Malt aroma - Malt body with some hop bitterness to balance - Malt goes into the finish - This was ok
3.5 Follow the trip on instagram @juurperi #olutmaailmanympärimatka #beerworldtour Beer country number 72 Namibia
2.7 cheers .
2.3 330ml green bottle from Beers of Europe. Clear gold, moderate sized white head, nice retention. Sweet malt aroma, some corm, grassy, maybe a hint of lemon. Taste is very thin, some corn, malt and grass notes but its over before you know it. No real bitterness to speak of. Light body but fine for 4%. Carbonation too subdued for a lager, needs more to get limited flavours around the palate. Otherwise you may as well have water. Pleasant enough, no big off notes, refreshing, but very dull and almost tasteless.
2.1 Green bottle when opening there is an skunks grassy smell. Golden coloured beer with an mediocre slightly sweet bitter taste with some limy hints. Old paper ratings before Ratebeer, so why not rate them in hindsight.
2.8 Medium gold pour, decent white head. Nose is grain. Middle shows light kilned malt, light bready quality, touch apple, light bitterness. Finish is fairly dry and light bodied.
2.4 330ml delivered from Beers of Europe and drunk at home. Light gold, clear with a small white head. Aroma is a bit skunky with lots of corn and hay. Artificial saccharine taste, thankfully light and therefore a little bit refreshing despite the fact it isn't very good. Medium carbonation. Typical run of the mill lager but a new country tick.
3.5 Golden beer with little white head. Malty and barely taste with a sharp pleasant start. Sweet finish
4.0 Rich tangy taste, slightly pleasant bitterness to begin with. Smoothon the tongue with hints of malt notes. Goes down very well. Good beer with an exquisite finish
Proost!
2.5 0,33 l bottle from Sea Cliff hotel restaurant, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Average Pale lager, cool beer is refreshing when outside temperature is 30 C.
1.1 Rating copied from Untappd. Bought from an unknown location and enjoyed at home on 21 nov 2019
2.7 Old rating from 2009 - 330ml bottle, pours clear amber with a small white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of lemon, biscuit, hay, grain & sweet malt Moderate body. Moderate bitter finish
3.2 Crisp lager. All day beer
2.2 0,3 litre Bottle, shared with Bergstaden. Golden with white head. Malts, hops, grain, sweetness.
2.0 Pours gold with a small head. Nose shows hay, cooked vegetable notes and soft lemon. Flavours include more hay, some bready malt and faint spicy hops. Very subtle. Watery body.
2.4 0.33l bottle thanks to Lore. Clean pale yellow body with a small but lasting white head. A bit grainy and hay-like aroma and taste with a hint of cardboard and a noticable amount of grassy hops. The finish is a bit metallic. Drinkable, not much better than the average macro lager, but not worse either.
1.8 Found out of bottle. Pours a standard straw yellow with heavy cereal aroma. Thick white foam. Its merely a quantity beer, fine for hot summer days on a boat but less than average for the style.
2.0 Bright golden color, nice white head. Quit simple lager. Looks nice, simple grainy and faint hoppy. Quit lite body.
4.3 An excellent beer after a frustrating three days. I might need two more. Let’s hope the next one after that is to celebrate. 6 March 21 update — another windhoek for another great day of home renovating with brother in law. A great brew to share from th other side of the world to celebrate the day’s end.
1.9 Bitter. Thin to taste. Some lacing. Wouldn’t go out of my way to drink again.
2.6 Botella 330ml Dorada con espuma blanca, fina, alta, resistente.Aroma malta intenso, herbal.Sabor ligero dulzor con notas amargas, malta intenso,herbal.Acuosa.
2.2 Bottle. Grain, only light green apple, light sweet, light tart, quite crisp and only barely oxidised. Quite decent for what it is.
3.4 Country tick #111, Golden beer, small head, aroma is light malt, some hops. Taste is the same, not bad
1.6 Водянистое, слабовыраженное пиво
