3.5 750 mL bottle. Poured clear, bright golden with a sticky white head. The aroma picked up sweet banana and vanilla with accents of cloves and nutmeg.. peppery alcohol warmth rose as it warmed. The flavor found white pepper and cloves laced throughout.. sweet banana, vanilla, and a kiss of honey supported.. tangy, sugary, and warm on the long finish. Medium-plus bodied with heavy, creamy carbonation.. I enjoyed the mouthfeel.. overall a solid, but not spectacular brew.
3.3 Poured from a 750ml bottle. This is burnt sugars, caramel, toffee, sweet and fruity. This is not terrible, but not very exciting. Sweet and syrupy.
3.6 Pretty good golden ale, bomber, gold pour white head very sweet and easy to drink, nice one
3.4 (bottle) clear light amber colour with a small white head; aromas of champagne, spice; balanced flavour with a long light bitter finish; quite decent
4.0 750 2012-Hay, Fruit and phenolic pours a golden orange with a frothy head. Nice sweetness good mouthfeel. This is some tasty stuff.
3.7 Shared 750 ml. bottle poured to snifters showing a slightly hazed, light, orangy gold color, a nice layer of soft white froth, and web-like lacing. The nose was estery as lemon & apple, sweet, with hints of yeast & spice. Lively effervescence and a slightly earthy hop bitterness helped maximize these notes, and the general flavor impression. Fairly hidden, but well integrated alcohol.
3.7 750 ml bottle. Pours a slightly cloudy, golden-orange with a tall, frothy, white head the dissipates quickly. Aromas of sweet bread, apricot, and maybe a hint of orange. Taste is moderately sweet with flavors of orange and candied lemon. Has a medium body with a thick texture. Carbonation is lively, but not overly so. Finish is moderate with a touch of sourness as the flavors wane. Overall, a really nice beer. Although, I do find it a little bit "sticky" on the palate.
3.6 2013-07-01. Golden orange body, massive foamy beige head. Smooth average plus body. Sweetish flavour, pale malt throughout has biscuity bready accents. Pleasant aroma, sweet bready pale malt, mild fruit, very light alcohol. Fairly simple but enjoyable take on the style. Bottle from the LCBO, Toronto
3.3 Pours golden with lots of carbonation and lacey head. Smells like a classic Belgian. Taste Is what you expect. Slightly sweet with a bit of bitterness on the end. A decent brew but there are better choices at this price point.
3.6 750ml served in a Tripel Karmeliet tulip. A - Golden honey color with a firm 3 finger white head that leaves lines of sudsy lacing around the glass. S - Dry spices-mainly clove. Dry and musty basement yeast, sugary dough, apricots, and peaches. Dried skunky herbs mellow out as it warms. Spicy alcohol vapors. T - Sugary stone fruit-peaches, apricots, and persimmons. The clove and herbal spices lace the outside of a full and rich Pils malt while finishing nice and dry orange-flavors and light peppery alcohol. M - Moderate carbonation helps lift the sweet and heavy body and turns almost creamy. Finishes slightly herbal and dry. A wonderful Tripel! I thoroughly enjoyed this brew. Great fruity and funky yeast. Finished well and had a good mouth feel. Serving type: bottle 12-30-2011
3.8 Pours a clear straw gold with a thin pure white cap that clings lightly to the glass. The aroma is some yeasty esters, belgian brewing sugar, basement, feild, lemon, light floral and herbal hops. The flavour is herbal, light lemon, brewing sugar, yeasty esters, pepper. Nice foamy/smooth mouth feel carries the flavours across well.
3.3 Pour leaves a hazy unfiltered look. Pour doesn’t really settle well. Oily texture with sweet flavor. The appearance was offputting. Found it difficult to get past all the "floaties" in my mug. Overall, the taste was okay. Good beer, but didn’t quite make my recommended list.
3.3 An odd duck. Pours clear golden with huge foamy head and lots of lacing. Nose is yeast and apple. Aromas are same plus some light pepper and maybe a hint of rye. Taste is light sweet with a longer bitter finish. Mouth is very heavily carbonated. Ok, but not the tripel I expected.
3.8 750ml bottle, pours a clear straw color, big full head, smells of lemon grass, taste is light a refreshing and very enjoyable.
3.7 Single brown, wine-looking, bottle from the LCBO with a cork and cage. Pours a shinning golden colour with a big soapy head that fizzes away slowly and gives a bit of foam lacing. Mild aromas of spices (cloves, coriander), Belgian Ale yeast, apples and light citrus (oranges mostly). Smooth mouthfeel with a nice balance between oily and creamy. No burning at all and just slight warming. The taste is pretty fruity at first, but does calm down with time. Citrus, apples with the spices and nicely balanced bitterness, which creates a little dryness. Maybe not a full Tripel, but has a lot of the guts of one. A decent brew from the cauldron.
3.9 Bottle: Poured a hazy bright golden color ale with a super large foamy head with good retention and some great lacing. Aroma of fruity ester with peppery yeast and sweet Belgian style malt notes are quite nice. Taste is a mix between some fruity ester and peppery yeast with some rustic Belgian malt notes with light residual candi sugar notes. Body is fuller then average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Well brewed and enjoyable without re-writing the style.
3.7 Smells like lots of florals. Good Belgian blonde verging on triple. Pours cloudy blond with good head and lacing on the creamy bleached side. Floral hops, slightly sour malt. 750 ml bottle.
3.0 This has sentimental value as my husband and I drank it on our first wedding anniversary- which was before we were rating. Its not available in our area, so we bought it when we ran across it on vacation. Bottle. Hazy honey color with frothy cream head and generous lacing. The aroma reminds me partly of wine and partly of bread and maybe a little of hard candy. Very sweet. Whew a little too sweet for my current tastes- though I remember us both liking it before. Oh, wait, there is a tinge of hop at the end.
4.4 From the bottle poured a lovely golden brew with a huge, fluffy head. Aromas of malt and vanilla. Medium bodied with a rich, malty, vanilla flavor with a little hop finish at the end tha lingers.
3.3 Pours a cloudy orange with a fine white head. Aroma: Very hoppy and dry. Some notes of cloves and orange. Palate: Foamy, fizzy, astringent, oily, long finish. Taste: slightly sweet in the start, quickly moves to a very strong dry bitterness.
3.5 Pours a light golden with a big fizzy white head. Aroma is grassy grains with lemon, citrus and light hops. Taste is a dry profile with light yeast and grass malt. Light lemon and citrus with a mild hop bitterness.
3.6 750 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a fully clouded golden colour with puffy lasting white head. Aroma is pear, wheat, citrus and gentle spice. Flavour has wheaty malt, pear, lemon and light spice. Active, fine carbonation. Good.

2.0 Bottle. Pours a hazy gold-peach with a very sticky, very lacy, creamy head. Nose is white grape. Very sweet and fruity, with a bitter smoky undertone; the finish is very unpleasant. I just don’t care for this.
3.5 Bottle [750ml]. Pours a clear, very bubbly gold with a huge diminishing fizzy/rocky white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, light grassy hops, bready malt, sweetness and some spices. Flavour of Belgian yeast, pepper, grassy hops, alcohol, a bit of honey and a dry slightly bitter finish. Slightly overcarbonated to me. As I mentioned, there’s some alcohol present but not 9.3%. Medium bodied. Pretty good and enjoyable Tripel.
4.1 A bottle conditioned triple which pours a pale clouded gold. Massive meringue head. Lively natural carbonation. Aroma is pleasing - spics, apricot, sharp hop tones, earthy mustiness. Flavout is bright, fruity, spritzy, some complexity midnpalate and a long drying sharp hoppy finish with yeasty tones. Really nice drinking.
4.4 Smelt of bread, dough, alcohol, citrus and tasted about the same too. Very nice beer. I would definitely buy this beer again.
3.0 750 mL bottle: Appearance is golden brown with slow fading white head. Aroma is of stale malt. Taste is of stale malt and hardly Belgian. Honestly think this could be my least favorite Belgian brew.
3.2 light body, medium body, that beer was pretty f ing awesome with a nice buzz. astringent, long finish, fizzy, medium body,
3.4 750mL bottle from LCBO. Pours clear and golden with a foamy 1-inch head. Aroma is typical Belgian spicy yeast. Taste is quite sweet - sweet malt, slight spice and alcohol. Fine, but nothing too special.
