Medium koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: licht bitter, droog.
4.7Jättegod trippel, rik på smak, beska, jäst
3.5Fles 33cl thuis. Wat vlak. Lichte smaak. Wat citrussmaak. (4-2012).-------.
3.4Bottle 33 cl.
A bit fruity, cereal in the aroma. Not outstanding.
Poured clear blond with a large white head, lasting and lacing.
Taste has herbs, apples, a bit citrus.
3.7Ljusgul, rätt blek. Härlig doft, typisk blandning av jästens syrlighet o frukttoner. Smaken följer samma spår men avtar fort. Tunn kropp.
3.5Creamy white head stayed on a hazy, still golden body.
Bitter/Sweet citrus, lemon, sugar & peach aroma.
Medium bodied, smooth & quite creamy on the palate. Minimal carbonation & soft on the back.
Floral tastes with banana, yeast bubble gum followed by a slightly bitter citrusy finish.
3.2330ml bottle. Pours hazy golden with medium white head. Aroma of malts, yeast, floral. Light to medium body, lively carbonation. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter with dry finish.
4.2Belgian Tripel with a Rich Taste, fine note of hops as well as a fruity palate.
3.4Flaska ölcafet. Grumlig gul vätska. Doft av belgojäst, örter och hö. I smak känns örter, övermogna äpplen och halm. Aningen torr och lite sträv.
4.1A: Cloudy light straw with a medium white head.
N: Lime rind, faint sweetness.
T: Lime, zest and pith. Spices. Basil. Rosemary.
P: Medium
O: Great beer. A saison on steroids.
3.4Bottle, 33cL. @L’Estaminet, Pouançay, France. A pale golden clear beer with a big white foamy head ; medium retention ; ok lacing. Herb, floral notes, citrus, light bread. Medium dry lasting bitter refreshing, light note. Medium body, thin texture, average carbonation, short floral bitter finish. Overall, enjoyable ; I think maize gives this beer a rounder floral character and makes it easier to drink.
3.6Bottle from Geers, Gent - BE - Color: hazy golden blond beer with small carbonation and medium white foam. Smell: sweet cereals, malt and honey notes. Floral. Taste: medium body with sweet toffee malt backbone, honey and floral notes. Good attenuation and quiet drinkable. Aftertaste: sweet and floral. Ester, yeast notes. Good.
3.7Bottle. Golden colour, small white head. Fruity lemon aroma, flowers notes. Sweet malt flavour with light bitter end
3.5Kolor zó?to pomara?czowy, m?tny. Piana bia?a, ?rednio wysoka, puszysta i trwa?a.
Aromat owocowy, rze?ki, generalnie delikatny, kojarz?cy si? raczej z piwami lekkimi sesyjnymi, pomara?cze i mandarynki to temat wiod?cy, dalej nuty miodowe i nieco pieprzowe.
Goryczka niska, owocowa.
3.5F: big, creamy, good retention.
C: opal golden, light hazy.
A: malty, honey, grassy, floral, spicy, candy, yeasty.
T: malty, citrus peels, grassy, apple, floral, peppery, light to medium body, good carbonation, very good balanced and tasty, 33cl bottle from Prik&Tik /Quali-drinks/ in Brussels.
2.4Gedronken in stromop. Matige tripel, slecht aroma, beetje flets qua afdronk. Troebel bier.
3.5I enjoyed this tripel. it has a nice fruity taste, enjoyed it with warm weather. It was not special/good enough to have again for me, there are so many good tripels in Belgium! :-)
3.2Aroma:
Slight/medium aroma of malts, wheat, Belgian yeast, grain and hops.
Appearance:
Hazy/turbid yellow/golden beer with a slight/medium white head.
Taste/Palate:
Starts medium sweet with malts, wheat and Belgian yeast; ends slightly bitter and dry with grain and hops.
Overall:
This beer is rather intense and balanced, but lacks complexity. I guess the added maize gives this beer the wheat like flavour. Way too balanced to notice anything distinctly.
3.0A nice triple abbey beer from a great brewery just outside Brussels. Fruity taste. Aroma makes me see and feel dark colours, some kind of wood? Aftertaste is good. I had expected a more happy beer, but it was just as I prefer, not too hoppy. My bottle had been in my stock for a few years (best before September - 09),but I must say this beer has may be improved by being stocked.
3.1Couleur jaune trouble, forte mousse.
3.433cl at Biere mit Stil 1: Worldwide Tripel Tasting@Bierhandlung Freiburg JAN2016. - The revived version of the purportedly first commercial 1932 tripel as "adapted" by Westmalle 1934. - - Light and floral meadow aroma, elderflower blossom, if shy and almost roomspray-like. Natural grains, oats? in aroma. Drinks almost like a BIO-Kristallweizen/Imperial Wit crossover (some green apple, some almond and wheat sweetness) lightened by eggwhites, - at the risk of a meagre offering for the style. Odd, if friendly compared to other tripel liver-batterers that coat the holes with syrup.
Nett !
3.1Bottle brought home from the Netherlands. The beer has got a cloudy golden-amber colour with a smooth body and steady head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, flowers and bread. Taste of Belgian yeast, flowers, caramel, biscuits, bread and malt. Yeasty finish.
3.8Cloudy, yellow colored, small to medium white puffy head. Aroma is some brewing sugar, spicy, fruity, herbal hoppy mix. Taste is medium sweet caramel, candy sugar, bit of bubblegum, fruits, lots of spicy and herbal hops, medium+ bitter, dry finish, some Belgian yeast. Medium bodied and carbonation. Even feels light compared to some other Tripels. I like this one.
3.333cl bottle split with a friend. Pours a clear yellow with an off-white head. Aroma’s of malt, yeast and grass. Malty sweetish taste with notes of fruits and grass and a bit hoppy. Finish is kind of dry and hoppy. Low carbonation.
