2.3 Little hazy pinkish beer with minimal white head. Aroma is sweet raspberries, wheat, sweet syrup. Taste is sweet and little artificial berries. Light body. Overall drinkable fruit beer, but little bit artificial taste.
3.1 Bottle 25cl. From a local Gall&Gall bottleshop, @home poured into a tumbler. Strong fruity nose; hazy pinkish orange, tall frothy white head, good retention, heavy lacing; aroma wheat, raspberries, bubblegum, lemonade syrup; taste very sweet, raspberries, strawberries, light tart, fruit candies; light body, sticky texture, average carbonation; decent fruit beer, refreshing, less artificial and thus better than expected.
2.6 250ml bottle. Pours red. Raspberry, yoghurt, floral, savoury bread stuff, bizarrely sweet. Not great.
2.9 On tap at The Wharf, Aalborg. Pours hazy reddish amber with white head. Aroma of raspberries, light bread, oranges, sulfur, flowers, perfume. Tastes sweet, a little fruity sourness.
3.2 Very good raspberry aroma...taste is like a raspberry blowpop...a little too sweet and kinda artificial...one dimensional and finishes too sweet.... fake sugar like sucralose or something...
2.8 duft: hindbær rød frugt frisk smag rød kant citrus tør rød frugt sødme hindbær
2.5 On tap. Rose wine color with fat bubbles and beautiful white head. Intensely sweet candy raspberry aroma. Smells like cherry 7-up. Mildly tart, thick syruppy sweetness. Corn syrup aftertaste. I was interested since it’s a blend of 2 beers and raspberries, but the end product isn’t very good.
2.6 Clear pink, off-white foam head. A fresh lemonade, not a beer. OK for that. Fruity aroma and bit too sweet taste. (Velp 201703)
Corpo leve, bem carbonatada.
2.9 Pour is a dirty water brown with a small white head. Aroma is a pleasant raspberry with not much else. Flavor is way sweet. Like drinking a raspberry smoothy that melted. This is like a raspberry puree with some sugar added. At least the aroma was nice.
3.1 Tap. Pours hazy pink/golden with fading white head. Aroma is sweet and fruity with raspberry up front, notes of malt and winegum. Taste is semi-sweet and fruity with raspberry, peachy undertone and a light malty finish. Quite light and semi-sweet finish.
3.7 Pici habocskája gyorsan eltűnik. Színe rózsaszínbe hajló narancssárga. Illata nagyon finom, gyümölcsös, a málna dominanciájával, a háttérben nemi komlós aromával. Az íze málnaorgazmus, némi búzasörös aromával. Tökéletesen eltalált egyensúly, a legfinomabb málnás sör.
2.3 Sample c4. Pours orange/pink with a white head. Aroma of cheap gummibears, quite sweet, fruity, artificial. Taste is sweet, gummibears, overly sweet. Alcopop
3.2 Drank from a pint glass poured from a bottle, thank you Björn! Has a nice smooth cherry aroma. A really good Framboise! Delicious!
4.0 On tap at Bailey’s Chocolate Bar, how cool is that?! Tastes a lot like Lindemans Framboise or any other raspberry blended lambic you’ve had. About that: it’s completely unfair Lindemans gets a weighted average 93 and this gets 13, it’s delicious! Mix of Belgian Wit and diluted lambic flavours. Faint lactobacillus yogurty bite. Crisp and light, a great balance of sweet and tart, fruity and funky, hint of black pepper and clove, even a woody, noble perfumey aspect. Spritzy Champagne-like carbonation but still a relatively soft mouthfeel. Highly recommended.
1.9 250ml bottle bought at YATA in MOKO, Mong Kok. Cloudy hazy pinkish rose colour with a thin crust of yeast sediments; One-quarter finger head and white foam which fades in 30 seconds; Very Good sticky lacing with near zero carbonation; Fragrant aroma of light malt, with strong wheat, strong raspberry, strong black current / Ribena, hint of vinegar, rhubarb, light sugar, cream cracker, yeast and light citrus; Close to medium sweet taste of very light malt, with light wheat, thinned raspberry juice, strong aspartame, yeast, and thin lemon; Mid to light body, slick palate; Mouth feel is very light maltyness in a slick background, overwhelmed by watered-down raspberry juice. Sweetness is not sugar but strong aspartame from Diet Coke, so it’s thin but unnaturally sweet. Faint lemon to close. Iffy… Hoppiness is thin lemon in nose and taste. No bitterness, just detectable citrus astringency and watery finish; Wet after taste. Very easy and sweet to mouth. Comments: As if the Wittekerke proper isn’t impressive already, this cocktailmakes things worse with watery raspberry and sweetened with aspartame, my pet hate. Lowly and barely drinkable, I won’t touch this again.
2.5 330ml bottle. Pink color with off white pinkish head. Sweet fruity aroma, berries, some wheat notes. Sweet taste like aroma. Light thin body with lively carbonation.
2.3 25 cl. bottle Appearance: Murky brownish pink with no head. Arroma:Raspberry taste. Very sweet Rapsberries a bit artificial, sour undertones of wheat and sour Petrus beer. Thin body, sparkeing carbonation. (backlog rating)
2.9 Pink brew, smells of flowers and raspberries. The taste is a bit too sweet for me, and is dominated by raspberries, but it’s actually not as bad as I expected. If it’s served at a low temperature, to subdue the sweetness, it’s actually enjoyable. Then again, I do have a soft spot for raspberry-infused (or influenced) beers.
Backlog from 2015/05/02.
2.8 Sample from 25 cl. bottle at Tryk Bar, Copenhagen. Hazy, pink colour with an amber tint. Thin, bubbly white head. Sweet aroma with fruit juice, wheat malts and heavy raspberries. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes sweet with raspberries and sugars. Very sweet - the girlfriend liked it.
2.4 25 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Plus, Culemborg. Murky brownish pink with no head. Raspberry aroma and taste. Very sweet but with a sour undertone. Not my kind of beer.
2.5 Tap @ wharf, Aalborg. Aroma of sweet raspberry, slight tartness. Hazy reddish amber, tiny white head, lasting. Moderate+ sweetness, light- sourness. Medium body, watery feel, average carbonation, sweet finish.
3.6 330 ml bottle into pint glass, 401022 bottle code. Pours hazy/cloudy reddish orange color with a 1-2 finger dense light pint head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of sweet, juicy, and lightly tart raspberry; pear, apple, wheat, bread, light coriander/clove, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of raspberry, bready malt, and fruity/earthy yeast notes; with solid strength. Taste of juicy, sweet, and lightly tart raspberry; pear, apple, wheat, bread, light coriander/clove, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Minimal yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of raspberry, pear, apple, wheat, bread, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Good robustness and balance of raspberry, bready malt, and fruity/earthy yeast flavors; with zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and fairly creamy/slick mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.3%. Overall this is a good standard tasting fruit beer. All around good robustness and balance of raspberry, pale malt, and fruity/earthy yeast flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. I was hoping for more pronounced witbier character against the fruit flavors; but it was still pleasantly enjoyable.
