3.412 oz bottle from Premier Gourmet. Pours a murky rust colour with small off-white head. Aroma is earthy pumpkin, ginger, allspice and bread. Flavour is sweet pumpkin bread, ginger, allspice and a little earthy character. Relatively light, fine carbonation. Clean, pleasant tasting beer.
3.3Bottle. Pours an orange color with white head. Pretty typical pumpkin beer aromas and flavors of pumpkin and spices. Pretty well balanced between pumpkin and spices, neither dominate.
2.9Pours orange with a thin white head. Aroma is pumpkin. Flavor is pumpkin with subtle hops and spice.
3.4Bottle as Pumpkin Ale in the usual Wolavers layout. Aroma of spice/pumpkin pie, bread. A nice organic pumpkin brew. Not too risky, just gettin it done.
3.2Brown pour from bottle off white head. Pumpkin and spice aroma. Malty with some pumpkin spice and lots of actual pumpkin flair through the finish.
3.1A very good pumpkin on draught. Smooth up front, and still hits the back of your tongue with spices. I'd drink this consistently....it's really good.
3.9The body had a deep amber color with some visible carbonation. The head on top was off white in color, tall and slowly faded down to thin ring of lace. On the way down the glass it left behind some nice lace rings. The nose had notes of sweet malt, rich pumpkin meat and pumpkin pie spice with ginger being the stand out. Its spice character is up front and center with ginger and then cinnamon standing out. Next up is a sweet malty middle with noticeable roasted pumpkin flesh notes. Hop flavor also mixes in and adds to the spicy character. The finish has a nice balance of all its components and slowly fades off the tongue. It has a rich smooth texture with nice carbonation and a solid medium to full body.
3.3Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a cloudy orange colored body with a small one finger white head that quickly dissipated into the body. No carbonation is seen rising. No lacing is left.
The smell had the allspice and ginger up front with the pumpkin coming in behind it.
The taste balanced sweet malty pumpkin with the allspice and ginger coming in together. The aftertaste is bitter.
The palate was about a medium with nothing harsh on the tongue.
Overall, this was not a bad pumpkin being that its organic. If I was a tree-hugger, this is a pumpkin beer that I would do more often.
2.9Bottle, pours an amber colour, aroma is light spice and taste is pretty light pumpkin spice taste, overall nice offering
3.1Bottle. Orange golden pour with a finger of off white head. Cinnamon and pumpkin. Spice. Medium body with good flavor for this style of beer. Actually pretty good
3.1Bottle. Pours murky brown with virtually no head. Little to no carbonation. Nice flavor and aroma of pumpkin and spices. Above average pumpkin beer.

2.8Bottle. Deep golden amber color. Foamy off-white head. Nose was malty and bready, nutmeg. Flavor was heavy bready malts, not very bitter, not much spice. Barely any pumpkin, so its not really more than a lager in character. Thick palate. It was ok.
2.7On tap at Joe Canals West Deptford.
Appearance: Amber body with a light haze, dense tan head.
Aroma: Cinnamon and nutmeg are present with hints of clove and vanilla, slight pumpkin pie vibe.
Taste: Very mild, hints of pumpkin, clove, and nutmeg on the finish, but bland until the finish.
Palate: Light bodied, moderately carbonated.
Overall: A boring beer that’s offers very little in the sea of pumpkin beer. Pass on this unless organic is important to you.
3.5You're typical pumpkin ale, not saying it's boring. It has a good fall taste, prevalent spices with a hint of pumpkin. Being organic adds nothing to the flavor just adds the satisfaction of knowing its the real stuff.
3.2Hazy amber with thin lacy offwhite head; aroma is light with cinnamon notes; Flava is richly cinnamon and nutmeg; feels light and fizzy; fjnishes dry slight grain grassy notes and some sweet sugary notes late.
3.2pours a clear orange/amber with a medium off white head. aroma is right down the middle for the style with balance between crust and light spices. flavor is more to the spicy side...clovey...just a bit muddled. Mouthfeel is light/medium and the finish is earthy and dries with spices.
3.4Has a very nice spiced pumpkin aroma. Almost pumpkin pie like. Smells pretty natural. Pumpkin tastes natural, not fake like some others. Mild spice. Full flavored but not heavy. Easy drinking. Maybe a bit of an odd aftertaste and a palate that feels almost like the carbonation lingers on the tongue. Slightly odd. Maybe the spices? But overall a good pumpkin.
3.016 oz. draft. Light amber pour with a decent sized head and lacing. Smell is cinnamon, nutmeg a touch of pumpkin. Taste is caramel, spice, just enough pumpkin to notice. Average pumpkin ale, suffers from too much spice and not enough pumpkin as many in this genre do.
3.7I enjoyed this. Has a good spicey kinda gingerbread aroma, some nutmeg. Has a mild pumpkin gingerbread taste, smooth body. Points for being organic.
2.9Cinnamon aroma, nice orange color, spice is overcome by the hop punch. Hops hangs on the palate, limited maltiness.
2.5Bottle. Mild initial spice aroma. Medium amber cloudy color. Not very pumpkiny. A lil tart. Eh.
3.2Bottled 071013. Nose full of spice, cinnamon and allspice, and some mild earthier character. Pours an attractive neon orange with a sudsy beige head. Taste is only very lightly sweet, a little grainy and seemingly wheaten, spice is there but thankfully pulled back, and pulled back into a sustainable balance with the malt. No really bitterness or hops, some earthy character, fullish body and enjoyable enough.
3.5Poured from bottle. Pleasant aroma of pumpkin and brown sugar. Good lookin cloudy amber/orange with light tan head that persists. I taste pumpkin with brown sugar, cinnamon, spices and malt. Could use a little more flavor. A bit too watery. But it is a nice beer that is working out well for me on this hot, humid summer day.
3.6Pours cloudy, orange-amber with a short, off-white head.
Pumpkin Pie Filling aroma...
Nicely subdued pumpkin flavor...lightly spiced.
Very well made...
Understated...nice.
3.4Early in the season for this.....2013 version labeled as Wolaver’s Pumpkin Ale......pours a copper color with an off white head which hangs around for a bit and laces well. Aroma of nutmeg, orange, allspice, and sweetness. Taste is full of spices with little pumpkin taste, perhaps this was too early to try it as the spices overwhelm any other flavor, with a decent mouthfeel. Bitterness is the last sensation after the hit of spice.
3.5Another bottle from Travlr; thanks again! Aroma of fresh pumpkin and a nice spice balance, definitely some clove and nutmeg in there. Appearance is unfiltered amber brown with bone head. Flavor matches the nose; the clove and nutmeg and still the stars balanced by the pumpkin, but there is a nice, herbal hop finish as well- the spice really lingers overall. Palate is slick with a light mouthfeel. One of the better pumpkin ales I’ve had.
3.3this beer is exactly what I thought it would be... a nice clean refreshing pumpkin taste. the aroma obviously was pumpkin and spices and was smooth with zero bitterness. very good pumpkin!
3.2Serving: 12 oz. bottle from Wegmans Leesburg. It pours a hazy reddish orange with a decent off white head. The nose has a good bit of pumpkin spice and a touch of pumpkin bread. The flavor unfortunately isn’t as good as the nose. There is still lots of pumpkin spice, but the malt side isn’t very complex. There is a little doughy malt but not much else. There is an odd lingering bitterness on the back end. Medium body with a little aggressive carbonation. Serviceable but not spectacular.
3.8Honestly, one of the better pumpkin ales I’ve had. The spices seemed to be just right; not too faint, not too strong. Pleasing brew.
2.7355mL thanks to Travlr. Pours chill haze deep amber. Weaker white head. Scant lace. Nose is malty, a bit stale, squashy, weak pumpkin, apple juice, some spice. Taste is nutmeg/pumpkin pie spice, buttery crust, moving to a lot of lemon tea and soap. Palate is dish water and chalk. My rating: 2.7 Fiance rating: 3.4
