3.5 Prima string ale met donkere tonen. Karamel en wat gebrande mout. Ook fruitige tonen.

3.2 Bottle pours hazy brown with tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, caramel/toffee, spices. Taste accordingly, medium sweet, cacao/caramel/nutella but also a more flat brown sugar, light bitter. A little disappointing compared to their Wolf 8...

3.8 Bottle. Dark amber color, white foam. Aroma: malt, toffee, yeast, wine, fruit. Taste: sherry, toffee, plums, raisins, a little alco, warming, very good.

3.0 Bottle at circus de biere. Dark brown coloř with off-white head. Caramel, banana, alcohol in aroma and taste. Too sweet.

3.4 Fľaša. Tmavo jantárová farba, hnedá hustá pena. Vôňa sladová, karamelová, prezreté ovocie, alkohol. Chuť sladová, karamelová, suchosť kakaa. V dochuti alkohol a prezreté tmavé ovocie. Plné telo, stredná nasýtenosť. Celkom však preráža karamel.

3.4 A hazy dark brown colour with a massive head of foam. Loads of caramel malt in the smell Well, that and pitted fruit; plums and some raisins. The pitted fruit takes center stage whilst the caramel is much diminished in the taste. Fruity tartness here with pretty strong alcohol for the abv. Almost full bodied with medium carbonation. Good brew.

3.9 the aroma is caramel and fruity with shades of dried plum and banana, toffee, vanilla and sweet wine... the taste is caramel and fruity with notes of milk chocolate, raisin, toffee, dark fruits and some spices... sweet, dry and bitter aftertaste...

3.0 W aromacie pojawiają się rodzynki, ale też duże ilości karmelu naraz, przez co szybko dominuje tak zapach, jak i słodkawy smak. W nim uwydatnia się też moc piwa (tak, to 9%), która drapie w gardło i mooocno rozgrzewa.

3.0 Donker amberkleurig bier met witte schuimkraag. Geur: zoet, karamel. Smaak: zoet, karamel, alcoholisch, wat gedroogd donker fruit. Redelijke koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: licht zoet.

4.0 Bruin bier met schuim. Smaak is krachtig, warm, licht zoet en licht bitter hoppig met iets van karamel en chokolade. Fruit niet kunnen ontdekken, verder goed bier.

3.7 Хороший крепкий бельгийский эль, во вкусе фрукты, особенно выражен абрикос.

4.0 Great beer for the price. Balances citrus and malt. Light Amber appearance, flowery aroma, creamy head, and subtle after taste. Not at all alcohol taste even though it packs a 9%! If you see it, drink it.

Opaque amber brown, tall frothy beige head, good retention, light lacing; aroma dark malts, caramel, yeast, apricot, treacle, esters; taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, dried apricots, toffee, esters, spicy notes; bittersweet fruity finish, spices (ginger, galanga), alcohol notes; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation; rich and tasty.

4.2 Piwo dobre, wiadomo jak na belgie przystalo spora i trwala piana, metnosc tez spora, ciemno brazowo bursztynowe piwo. Pachnie kasztanami i orzechami. W smaku orzechowo truflowe, nieco toffi i ciemnych lesnych owocow. Slodkawe ale nie przytlaczajace, troche rozgrzewajace ze wzgledu na spora zawartosc alkoholu, ale na szczescie wogole nie wyczuwalny.

3.3 33 cl bottle at home. Pours ruby brown with medium tan head. Aroma: coffee, candied sugar, apple, dark fruits.Taste: high sweetness with medium bitterness. Finish is. Notes of coffee, spice and brown sugar. Oily texture with high carbonation.

3.9 From the 750 ml. corked, caged bottle. Brown, heady pour with reddish hues and moderate clarity. Consistent carbonation. The aroma has a sweet malt note to it along with plums, prunes, and raisins. Touch of booze. The body is medium. The taste brings out the same malt sweetness but there is a bitter bite coming up at the end and lingering. Dry finish.

3.8 Bottle. Color deep amber with medium head. Aroma caramel, alcohol, spicy. Taste sweet, alcohol, spicy, caramel.

3.3 Valt nog mee, weinig of geen schuimkraag, een donkere kleur. Goed te drinken.

3.4 F: huge pale brown, long lasting. C: dark red to brown, little hazy to clear. A: malt, caramel, banana, pear, yeast. T: malt, caramel, some dark fruit, hint of banana, brown sugar, alcohol, some sourness, yeast, medium to full body, good carbonation, some paprika spice like, peppery, even like some woody tones, interesting complex beer.

3.4 10/8/2011 6:53:12 AM Bottle from Beer Planet. Dark amber body with medium head. Nose of malts and some honey. Taste also malts, but with chocolate and honey and spices. More chocolate and some bitter in the finish. Enjoyable.

3.3 Clear amber, big lasting, lacing foam head. Sweet aroma and similar sweet in taste - probably caused by high alcohol content. pretty carbonised, light bitter notes. Decent. (Velp 201509)

3.6 Bottle. Murky reddish brown pour with a huge frothy cream head. Sweet fruity and yeasty. Lively carbonation. Pretty good.

3.2 Flaska från Beernavigator ca 2 år gammal. Bärnstensfärgad och klar med lågt skum. En maltsöt pjäs med karamelliga smaker, men också plommon, körsbärskärnor, fuktigt trämarsipan och en hel del alkoholvärme. Men balansen är helt okej och en jästig och lite örtig beska balanserar bra med en ganska torr avslutning som resultat. Trevlig.

3.3 Bottle at home. APPEARANCE: dark blond beer, small stable off white head. NOSE: caramel, fruity. TASTE: caramel, fruity, sweet.

2.8 0,33l fles gedeeld bij lion. Bruin met een net niet witte schuimkraag. Parfum, caramel en alcohol voeren de boventoon. Afdronk wat metalig.

3.6 Belgian fruity aroma. Taste is also fruity. Not many flavours and aroma. Good but a little plain and boring.

4.8 Pours cloudy ruby with thick tan head. High aroma is berries (raspberry and strawberry); liqueur, a hint of liquorice. Also chocolate, butterscotch and vanilla. Very powerful but so well balanced it feels fresh. Full body.

3.1 Bottle. Cola pour with a generous mocha colored foam head. Aroma holds the middle between Speciale Belge and an abbey double. Prune, dried apricots, pepper. Licorice permeates. First sip is very metallic, copper. Subsequent sips remind of a stout, but a little fruitier (apricots, mocha, hint of coffee). Bitter, creamy development. Aftertaste is stout, prune. Ok.

4.1 Erg lekker, zeker na het drinken van de wolf 8. Klein beetje vergelijkbaar maar een zoetere afdronk.

3.7 Mooie chocoladebruine kleur met een volle fijne kraag. Ruikt chocolade, vanille, herfstfruit. Smaakt chocolade, vanille, alcohol. Iets fruit.
