It is made using 100% Granny Smith apples. This cider has a mouth-watering flavor that is tangy and tart, with just a touch of sweetness.

2.312 oz bottle. Pours a clear golden color with no head or lacing. Aroma of sugar water, apple scented soap, candy. Taste is kids’ sugar loaded artificial juice and cider. Dry finish of apple cider. Light body, thin but sticky texture, high carbonation. Despite the low rating, this is still pretty tasty. No way I could drink more than one at a time, but it is good. Very crisp and refreshing.
3.0355ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours pale yellow gold with a short-lived white foam head. Aroma of green apples, sugary, sweet fruity. Taste is sweet apple, tangy & juicy, with some tartness. Crisp mouthfeel, light to medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry finish with some residual sweetness. Quite OK.
3.6very good cider..sour as the name granny smith would make you expect
a bit low on carbonation- I would prefer more carbonation
a good tangy sour apple cider..I will keep buying this one..sessionable
I like sour beers so this is something to throw into a shopping trip as a changeup
I am searching for a good sour lacto cider that can match a flanders
this is ok
3.0Bottle at home. Pours light yellow with a slight white head. Aroma is tart apples and flavor follows. Crisp, Clean. Dry. And tart. Nice cider.
2.8Bottle. Clear pale yellow pour with no head. Mild tart apple, somewhat watery and subdued. Not bad, but not very good either.
2.9Bottle from Tesco, Longford [181114]
Extremely light straw green, thin white head
Aroma of sugar, vague apple
Taste of very soft apple juice, sugars
Palate - Medium carb, thin body, rather sweet. Finish - more apple juice in the afters which is quite juicy, flavour of the apple is quite nice but simple
Overall - The apple flavour build up with the drinking, more flavour in the finish. Would drink this over Bulmers any day.
2.912 oz bottle at home. Pours a clear pale yellow color with no head. The aroma and flavor have tangy apple juice somewhat in line with the more tart Granny Smith apples, still a big sweet component comes through. I am just not a fan of ciders.
2.3Appearance: pours with no head, beer is very clear very light gold almost a yellow color
Aroma: faint green apple
Taste: tangy, green apple, not super sweet but some sweetness, tang
Palate: lively carbonation, minimal apple aftertaste, leaves mouth dry,
Overall: I feel like this is a more subtle cider, not as much from the apple
2.7355ml from John Walsh Spar, 5% Nice sweet granny smith apple aroma. Appearancd is a nice white wine very pale yellow white. Taste is fruit and zesty with a dry slightly bitter finish that is long lasting. There is actually a nice amount of carbonation on the tongue. Overall one of the best in tbe woodchuck range as they let the apples do the talking here but letting the taste come out and not smothering it with sugar. It is still a bland cider and could be made more exciting.
3.2Pours from 12 oz bottle blonde in color, carbonated appearance, with an apple juice, rather than apple cider, taste. Refreshing taste of apple, nicely balanced, easy on the palate, and the right amount of carbonation. Easy drinking, nice change up from beer, even though not my style.
3.1"Nice tartness to this one, as expected. Not much in the way of complexity, as per the style, but a nice, refreshing crisp sweet and tart cider with a bit of a bite."
1.7355ml bottle. Clearish pour. Nothing tat is that tangy or tart, still too sweet, not good cider apples.
2.3Draft at Moriartys. Clear light straw pour. No head. Tastes and smells like a Granny Smith apple. Fizzy. Tart enough but sweetens in the finish.
2.712oz bottle. Clear pale straw colour. Flavors are tart green apples, apple skin and sugar. Pretty straightforward. Light body, fizzy carbonation, slick texture. OK.
2.6Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass and a wine glass.
The appearance was the same in both as there was a slight hazy orange to yellow color with a fast rising carbonation rolling into a quickly dissipating white bubbly head. Lacing, no way, not there, ah but I’m starting to understand ciders don’t do lacing. Okay, well, no big deal, I guess.
The smell was slightly tart but also a decent sweet apple. Was there some floral-ness in there? It seemed so to me.
The taste was mainly tart and sweet, combined pretty good.
On the palate, this one sat pretty light and could be construed as fairly sessionable. The normal harshness from a cider is there but just there and isn’t anything overbearing.
Overall, decent cider, nothing over the top and nothing bad.
2.6Bottle pour. Clear pale yellow color. Smells like a green jolly rancher. Sweet taste with a tart aftertaste.
3.7Was pretty good! The only thing that didn’t make it a 4 for me is that i just wish there was a little more sour notes since its granny smith.
2.3This hard cider is not as good as I thought it was going to be. I think that this is the worst hard cider on the market.
2.6Bottle. Pale straw colored, looks like white wine other than the thin white ring atop. Green apple, white grape, and champagne. Taste is dry with a lighter tartness. Body is lighter with a sticky feel.
2.7Smells like a jolly rancher green apple. Appears slightly yellow. Well carbonated. Dry, light cider apple flavor compared to other woodchuck.
3.1Yay for party cider. 12oz bottle in a taster. Dust, apple, and champagne yeast. Sweet but refreshing. Crisp I guess. Not bad.
2.2Bottle on st Pattys day. Not much aroma, some sweetness detectable. Taste is sweet, apples and some tart notes. Somewhat dry finishing. High carbonation. Not my favorite.
3.0Bottle fills the room with tartness, candyish and chewing gummish at first, but softened and reveled a bit of staleness soon after. Pours ultra pale yellow, essentially clear, with plenty of carbonation and a very short white head. Sharp, tangy taste, crisp and relatively dry with good apple flavor. Medium-full body, clean, quenching, refreshing. Really has a nice tang going on, some white wines would be envious.
1.9We did a blind taste test with this cider and 4 other ciders to objectively determine which one is best. The other ciders were: Woodchuck, Angry Orchard, ACE, Hornsby’s, and Strongbow. You can check it out here:

3.0Bottled. Clean yellow color, pretty still once poured. Light apple smell, more sweet than a Granny Smith should deliver. Taste has a slight tartness. Just not much character Which isn’t to say it’s not an apple-y distraction. It’s just nothing I’d make a U-turn for.
3.8Hoping for a tart dry cider but it was rather sweet and thin tasting, not preferable to granny smith apples anyway but I the taste was crisp and a little tangy.
3.5pale, clear, minimal head, light sweetness, light body, thin feel, fizzy, A little bland, not as tangy as expected
2.312 oz bottle pours golden with a white head. Aroma and taste are apples. This one is crisper then most.
3.5Poured into my Leinenkugel’s pint glass. Pours a very light, clear golden color with a lot of carbonation. Smell is very much champagne, but with bold tart apples and a touch of sugar. Taste is tart up front and on the finish, with some sweetness in the middle. There is some light sourness detected, but not much. Drinks a lot like champagne too with all the carbonation. Very easy to drink.
Overall: I wouldn’t say this is dry like the bottle says. It’s a sweet cider that is very tart. However you want to put it, it’s a very good cider.
3.2bottle. pale straw with minimal head. more tart than the standard woodchuck,, but still lightly sweet.
