Wychwood Dr. Thirsty's No. 4 Blonde

Wychwood Dr. Thirsty's No. 4 Blonde

Bottle: Filtered
Fresh off his cart is No.4. It’s an unpasteurised shimmering blonde concoction of fruits. Instant refreshment with an insanely fragrant aroma. No.4 is the first of the good DR’s elixirs to emerge from his apothecary. We expect more brews to follow from this enigmatic character.

4.2 One of my favourite blondes. I do prefer 5% to 6.5% ABV, so at 4.1% may be a bit lightweight for some. Good carbonation and if poured quite quickly, leaves lovely foamy signature rings around glass. Head is beige/white. Colour is golden and just a touch darker than what I would expect of a blonde. Lovely refreshing, malty, citrusy hops taste with medium bitterness. Must be great with spicy food. Very drinkable.
3.1 Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is fruity with orange, light creamy crystal malt, and a touch of caramel. Mild sweet, light bitter flavour. Body is almost medium. Easy, very drinkable.
1.0 Let me start by saying not good. I was already three sheets to the wind when I first took a sip and I sacrificed it to the fire pit..gross Blonde.
2.6 Nek užim ovo pivo. Nit okusa, nit mirisa. Ništa. Ima boju, ima pjenu, a kao da pijem vodu. Ne znam.
3.2 Wenig Körper, nicht besonders
3.3 0.5l bottle. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma of citrus, hops, malt, cardboard and biscuit. Taste is bitter and little sweet.
2.9 Aroma of herbal hop. Gold with white lace. Taste is medium sweet to bitter. Palate is medium oily average carbonation crisp finish
3.4 Bottle shared at THT February, a quality tasting. Clear golden with white head. Sweet and dry malts, dry grassy and light floral hoppy. Moderate sweet and bitter. Light body and soft carbonation. Quite nice.
3.4 Sampled at THT February. Bit hazy golden with small white head. Dry malts, soft fruity hops, fizzy CO2, soft paper and fresh wood, lime. Over light sweet and almost medium bitter. Over light bodied with fizzy carbonation.
2.5 50 cl fles. Helder goudgeel kleur, fijne romige witte schuimkraag. De geur is mout en gist. Smaak is zoet, mout, gras en licht fruit. Medium lichaam, veel koolzuur.
2.8 Bottle, 500 ml. Deep golden, light amber, a bit opal, not completely clean. Decen off-white foam, poor carbo like a British ale has to be traditionally. Aromatic hop (some kind of citrus-dominant, like Citra, maybe Centennial or smthg similar in character) and typical British yeast smell - these give a sweet lemon-biscuit feeling on the nose. Taste should be more thick, i don't have major problem with it, actually from this low ABV to bring out this taste is pretty good job. Exciting, refreshing, absolutely OK. Extra point for the aftertaste. Long and pleasent after several minutes.
3.7 Dr. Thirsty´s Nº 4.
Hindamiseks teen vaid ticki.
2.9 Bottle. Orange, small white head. Low bead. 3- Aroma of boiled orange peel, apples, light biscuit. But the malt is less flabby than expected and there is a snap to the modestly bitter finish. OK, refreshing.
2.8 500ml bottle into shaker. From Aldi, Riverwood. Crystal clear golden amber beer with foamy white head. Some lacing. Light carbonation. Nose is slightly floral and slightly malty. Flat mouthfeel, bitter taste. Bitter finish with just a late touch of musk sticks. Run of the mill ale.
2.7 500ml bottle. Clear golden with a small fluffy head. Biscuit aroma, flavour is biscuit, citrus. Pretty unremarkable
3.1 0,5l bottle. Clear hay yellow colour with medium lasting white head. Aroma: Honey, apple, floral notes. Taste: Sweet malty start with light sourish side tones and a quite hoppy but moderately bitter mouthfeel. A little bit watery after the hoppy tone disappeares. Light/medium body with medium carbonation. Long lasting (a bit too) sourish and bitter/dry finish.
3.3 Pours a golden amber. Crystal clear with an off white head. Bread, toffee and lemon an the nose. Taste is similar, sweet toffee and a touch of grapefruit and orange peel on the finish. Bit uninteresting but nice enough.
2.6 Boca 0,5L - kupljena u Spar Pleternica - prosječno pivo, tipično emglesko valjda samo njima zanimljivo
2.5 Straight pale ale, nothing special about it, very disappointed by this brewery.
0.7 Kupljeno u djelo marketu u Sibeniku... Grozno pivo ...okus vina...kiselo...katastrofa...etiketa je ok
3.3 Bottle - Nice crisp grains and cereal. Clear gold with a decent white head. Nice light bitterness and a touch of cereal and grains. Solid.
3.1 Never been a fan of Blonde beers but this isn't too bad. More like a golden beer in truth, not hoppy, bitter or too malty. Just pleasant but nothing exceptional to mention
2.5 0.5 l bottle. Pours clear golden with thin, white head. Nose is almost non-existent, only some faint fruity and floral notes can be dected. Taste is actually the same, although a bit stronger than the aromas. Closes with weak bitterness. Light body, soft carbonation. Huge meh.
2.6 Pours hazy golden with a thin head. Aroma of malts and some citrusy fruit. Taste of malts, strong bitterness. Dry bitter aftertaste
2.0 Not much aroma or flavour, it looks good but the after taste isnt the best. drinkable but much better blondes around
3.5 A nice beer from one of my favourite breweries.
3.2 4.1% alk. Mnogo više zanimljivija etiketa od same pive. Osvježavajući pale ale, sa lijepom dozom gorčine. Vrijedi probati, ali nećete puno propustiti ni ako ju ne probate.
3.4 A: Pale gold with a medium white head N: Faint grain and ample bitter, dank hops T: Decent malt backbone and great hop bitterness that lingers into the next sip. P: Medium-thin O: Great expression of a blonde. Just enough to elevate it and take it to the next level.
2.8 An average but drinkable blonde beer. Amber coloured with medium frothy white head.
