3.6 Kupione w Lidlu w 6-paku za 4 dyszki jako Hobgoblin Ruby. Kolor czerwony, lekka piana. Zapach owocowy, estrowy, trochę dzikowści, ciemno chleb, słodowy. Smak: goryczka umiarkowana, lekko słodkawy, owocowy, nie najgorsze.
3.5 500mL Ugodna aroma jabuke i prženog šećera, lijepa amber boja, pjena poveća i čvrsta... Okus srednje gorak, blago zaslađen, vrlo pitak... Solidno pivo, za preporuku...
3.3 Dark with an almost mint chocolate taste , nice drink
3.7 Bevuta in bottiglia. Birra rosso scuro. Buona ed equilibrata. Nulla di particolare da segnalare.
3.4 Malty, sweet and surprisingly good beer. Pours deep amber, little head. Malty aroma, a touch of honey. Fig with nuts, probably a good winter ale. Chilled, refreshing.
3.4 Deep red, clear with a creamy off white head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel and some hops and honey sense. Medium bitter with a more roasted malt and hops end. Byske Holiday 2022.
3.5 50cl bottle. Pours dark, almost black, with fine cream foam. Aroma is intensely malty, plus fig, a little nutty. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is fairly sweet. Final is average.
3.0 Bière peu forte assez ronde puis amère.
2.6 Dark red colour, low carbonation white head. Sweet malty aroma, caramel, roasted notes. Watery palate. Sweet, malty, roasted taste.
3.4 500ml bottle. Poured a hazy ruby colour with a mostly lasting frothy off white head. The aroma is red berry fruits and malt. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter, with a smooth, rich, malt, blueberry, light floral woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

4.8 I'm perplexed this beer doesn't get a higher score. It's one of my favourite beers and one of my favourite alcoholic beverages for special occasions. Its hops aroma is charming, it's very special, reminiscent of a refreshingly minty candy. And its malt body is sweet in aroma, reminiscent of dates, while being dry in taste.
4.1 Colour is a dark ruby ale with a small white head on top. Aroma is of toffees, malty, bready, caramel, coffee and slightly fruity notes.Taste is of roasted malts, bitter, cocoa, coffee, toffee and quite a light and thin beer. Overall this is a very refreshing and drinkable beer and I would drink this again.

3.3 500ml bottle served cellar temperature in a tulip pint glass. Dark Ruby ale with a off white head. Rich fruit cake and port wine aroma. Christmas pudding, coffee with a warming alcohol flavour, slightly sour after taste with a hint of chocolate. Very pleasant winter warmer.

3.1 500ml bottle shared with Eric in Shrewsbury. Pours deep amber, large off-white head. Aroma of amber malt, berry sweetness. Continues to taste, a bit more of a sweet nutty fruitcake flavour profile than I was expecting, nice nutty amber malt body. Solid bitterness. Ok ruby ale.
3.3 Belle robe rouille et mousse blanche qui tient assez bien. Astringente, elle laisse dans la bouche une amertume qui dure assez longtemps.
3.5 Can 440ml; Drunk at a 1st bday party. Proper review required.
3.8 Robe ambrée rougeoyante, limpide. Mousse beige, crémeuse. Très bonne tenue. Arômes caramel, fumé, fruits à coques fruits secs et confits. Goût sucré et amertume moyens. Texture fluide, un peu aqueuse. Carbonatation très fine. Moyennement abondante. Facile à boire.
3.6 500 ml bottle from a local convenience store (sort of). Colour wise a red ale, but taste profile wise English bitter. Pours a nice brownish ruby like a red ale; aroma of mild citrus, British hops and slightly caramelised malt; taste of nice and sweet caramel malts and esters. Both mouthfeel and carbonation medium. Pretty damn nice for a macro.
4.0 0,5l bottle (as "Hobgoblin Ruby Beer"). A dark amber/copper beer with a thin creamy beige head. Strong aroma with notes of caramel, chocolate, roasted malts and wood. Slightly sweet flavour with notes of roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, caramel, dark and dried fruits. Bitter aftertaste.
3.4 Escura,avermelhada,espuma bege cremosa e duradoura;no aroma malte tostado,caramelo,frutas vermelhas doces;sabor segue o aroma,maltado e frutado com suave amargor da tosta no final;corpo médio,álcool bem inserido,carbonatação adequada. Boa ESB.
3.2 Getrunken als "Wychwood Hobgoblin Ruby". Farbe schwarzer Rubin. Geruch erinnert in Nuancen an Rotwein. Auch geschmacklich findet sich ein wenig davon. Ein Hauch von Wermut fliegt vorbei. Röstig - Spuren von Kaffee und Röstmalz. Gute Substanz. Nicht uninteressant.
3.5 Older rating! Decent bottle design, not too Lord of the Ringsy.... Deep red colour, nice head, structured. Vaguely malty aroma. Watery mouthfeel. Somewhat nutty notes, malty onset, afters lightly bitter but more malty tones. Tasted again 1/10/21, tasted great! Autumn beer! Very tasty. Big beer! But just the one... Tasted 14/9/22 nice brew! Velvety in places...
3.8 Bottle from Tesco. Pours a clear ruby colour with a medium sized creamy white head. Aromas of dark fruits, plums, cherries, dark jam, caramel, chocolate and a touch of roasted malts. Taste has more dark fruits, caramel, chocolate, burnt brown bread and more roasty notes on the finish. Full body with a fairly smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Nice
2.7 Brune pas trop mal
3.3 23.06.2021 - 0.5l bottle from lidl in grenzach, bb 05.03.2022. pours a clear amber with a medium head. aroma of toasted malts, slight molasses. flavour of coffee, bread, dried fruits, wood. pleasant and easily drinking.
3.1 500ml bottle. It is a simple amber with nothing special aromas. Some malt, dry, earthy hop, touch of spice. Foam is rock! It is quite expensive for a boring amber beer.
3.2 Shared bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours clear dark copper with off-white head. Aroma of caramel, some earthy hop notes. Tastes slightly sweet with balancing bitterness. Thin bodied, slightly sweet finish.
