Wychwood WychCraft (Bottle)

Wychwood WychCraft (Bottle)

Bottle: Pasteurised.

A pale golden potion with delicate red hues, WychCraft has a heady burst of fresh citrus aroma derived from three infusions of Styrian golding hops. A sprig of gentle warming malty flavour finishes with a dry biscuit note and a counterpoise of bitterness.
WychCraft’s innovative new recipe includes adding three infusions of Styrian Goldings hops to the copper, to create a highly aromatic brew, bursting with succulent citrus and lime hop character. A light base of delicately flavoured English Fuggles hops, and the use of a lager malt, help retain the signature hop character and create a wonderfully aromatic and fragrant summertime beer. Beguiling to the end.

Ingredients:
Hops: Fuggles and Styrians

Malts: Lager and Caramalt.

3.0 Bottle from old backlog notes. Pours a clear yellow golden color with a medium sized fluffy off white head. The aroma and flavor have biscuity malt, floral notes, light citrus, lightly toasted, some butterscotch character, very average stuff.
3.5 Oh yes! Served nicely chilled and you have a winner. Been waiting to try this a while and think it’s a very good drink, tasty and lasting in flavour. Cheers!
2.8 500 ml bottle. Pours a veiled pale goldenish straw with a short lived white head. Flavor is pale malt, cereal. Finish has hints of fruits, somewhat dry. Lingering fruits, some citrus notes. Light to medium body, average carbonation. Rather generic, if it not for the slightly fruity hops in it.
3.6 Fruity aroma. Cloudy golden colour with excellent head. Slightly malty flavour. Light body, slightly creamy with excellent head.
2.7 Bottle from local market, Helsinki. Originally rated 31072012. Colour is clear golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Grain and malts.

2.6 500ml bottle at home. Pours clear pale gold, thick white head. Aromas are mostly cereal. As is the taste. Not great.
2.6 A 50 cl bottle from BC liquor stores. A pale amber beer with a bit of white head. A lightly hopped, somewhat malted bland pale ale, easy summer drinking. 2.6.
3.0 Crystal amber color with a generous layer of white creamy and lasting foam. The aroma is fruity, with malt presence and an herbal touch. Taste is caramel, with prominence of malt, some corn and a rather nice hoppy end. Some metallic taste.
3.8 500 ml. bottle @ home. Clear golden, light amber, little spiderweb head. Smells sweet and oily, aromatic oil, orange peel zest, touch hoppy and oily herbal hops. Tastes bitter herbal, aromatic oils hops, herbal, lime zest, caramel sugar, lingering herbal bitter, touch sorbet, crystal sugar. Oily bit sticky body. Very basic but very well-done and quite enjoyable. Highly unimposing & went wonderfully with food so this basically sort of a truly great table beer. Far more enjoyable than I expected initially.
1.8 Das äußere Erscheinungsbild verspricht mehr. Alles in allem ein Bier wie viele andere auch. Nichts dolles
3.6 Bottle 500ml at home, poured into a big Guinness glass. ABV 4.5%, simplest Wychwood label I’ve seen but still a nice one. Deep golden yellow colour on the body, clear, with two fingers of white head. Thick and soapy, with very good retention, medium lacing on the glass. Aroma of lemon, lemon peel, english hops, light malts. Nice taste, refreshing, with citrus, slighty malty, grass, light hops on the finish. Sweet beer in general with the citrus balancing it a bit. Medium thin body, good carbonation, quite dry palate. Overall a quite nice beer, simple but very drinkable.
2.7 zapach chmielowy - kwiatowy, ale dość delikatny. mętny złoty kolor. piana nie powala. w smaku wytrawny, z dominującą długą i dość mocną goryczką
2.8 pale golden colour, some white head;aroma of wine cellar, floral and grassy hops and some sweat, unfortunately...taste of cardboard, some hoppy bitterness and minimal honey sweetness;quite dry beer...drinkable, but will never be my favourite - to be honest, this one single bottle is more than enough for the rest of my life from this beer
3.0 Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldenes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch fruchtig malzig, leicht hefig, hopfig. Geschmack hopfig malzig, fruchtig, leicht hefig.
3.1 Pours golden with a thick frothy white head, which gradually fades to a ring. Aroma is hops, some citrus and a hint of honey. Taste reflects the aroma - hoppy, bitter, some honey and sweetness. Nothing particularly interesting but its good.
2.5 Poured a clear gold with minimal head that dissipated quickly. Light straw aroma. Active carbonation. Very average flavour with a slightly bitter finish. Nothing really special.
2.5 Simple and average with just a bit of straw and some malt. Refreshing, drinkable but no rocket science in any way.
2.5 Pours out of the bottle in a clear light yellow-golden colour with low head and medium body. Aroma of mild hops and straw. Taste of weak hops, straw, apples, barley and pine. Medium dry and quite thin finish. Average beer.
3.6 500ml bottle from local supermarket. Dark orange with small white head. Lots of bubbles. Nice aroma of citrus and fruit. Sweet hoppy taste, leading to a slight bitterness.
2.3 On näissä jotain mukavaa. Perus möhnötystä. Maanantaiolut. Kiva maku. Ei huikea. Saunaan.
3.0 Look: golden and clear with a white, medium, frothy, below avg. retention. Aroma: malty, sweet, some fruit, honey? no hops. Taste: sweet, some fruit, malty, light and harsh aspirin-like bitterness.
3.1 Bottle b+m. Clear amber could ok white head +lacing. Aroma is citrus. Taste is some citrus hops followed by biscuit sweet malts. Slight bitter finish. Medium to thin body. Strong carbonation too much. Ok beer.
3.1 Pours a sloghtly hazy copper color with a head that fades quickly to spotty lacing. Aroma of citrus, fruit and bit of sweet malt. Taste of citrus mild malt sweetness and grain. Nice bitterness and a fairly dry finish. Light body, crisp and refreshing. Nice beer but nothing out of the ordinary.
2.9 Aroma is faint, malty and slightly citrusy. Flavor is more malty, with little hoppy notes.
3.0 Bottle 500ml. Aroma: Typical hoppy blonde ale aroma with notes of biscuits. Appearance: It pours a clear transparent golden colour with a little white head. Taste: Citrusy start leads to a well balanced hoppy finish. Medium carbonation. It’s better than your average blonde ale.
2.8 Decent nose, nice looking, expected hoppier for "thrice hoped". Overall an OK beer, won’t be spending time trying to find it though.
3.3 500ml bottle. Pours a clear, golden yellow with a white, one finger head that covers the glass in lacing. Aroma is hoppy with hints of caramel, bread, and a touch of sugar sweetness. Taste is mildly bitter with some bready notes to balance it out. Slight fruity and caramel notes with a short, dry finish. Medium body and carbonation. Clean in the mouth with a slightly prickly carbonation on the tongue. Overall not bad. Could be a bit more flavourful but well worth a try. Cheers!
2.8 Bottle. Some herbal hops and malt in the aroma. Light bitterness. Light body, a bit watery, soft carbonation. Decent, but nothing extraordinary.
3.2 Bottle courtesy of kermis’ mom. Poured a crystal clear light amber with a thin white head. The aroma is dry dusty yeast and malt. The flavour is weak bitter with a slightly watery weak liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
