3.7 Can, 44 cl @summerhouse. Pours a hazy golden with a frothy white head. Bready aroma. Taste is semi dry and bitter and some malty sweetness with a hint of caramel. Very smooth and a little fruitiness. A nice beer.
3.9 Can. Golden pour. Aroma of juicy pineapple, orange, mango, papaya, biscuity malt, wheat and passion fruit. Taste has rich juicy tropical hops, pineapple, passion fruit, orange, mango, papaya, soft wheat and creamy bitter peach. Very good, great rich juicy creamy ipa.
4.1 Can. Pours a nice hazy amber with a bit of head. Aroma is caramel, pine, tropical fruit and citrus. Medium body. Flavour is malty, somewhat sweet, hint of caramel. Lots of pine, medium bitterness. Lovely hops notes, grassy, fresh, citrus, earthy and quite juicy. Some peach and some tropical notes. Has a lovely fruity character but most of the hops is dedicated to earthy, herbal and pine notes. Lovely, drinkable IPA which I could come back to every other day. Nothing is really emphasised, it's just a balanced, no nonsense, delicious IPA.
4.2 47,3cl-blik.
3.8 Fresh, grass, straw/hay, citrus, pineapple, orange peel, has some nice and slightly harsh bitterness, bbe 1/9/20, creamy wheat base, decent stuff
4.1 Smooth, fruit, hops - amazing
4.0 [3/20] Can. Murky amber with a white head that doesn't last but does lace. Aroma of citrus blossoms, grapefruit, ripe peach flesh, some bread crust, dried mango. Aroma is short of vibrant but the aromatics burst through on the palate. Not very sweet but lots of fruit (mainly citrus). Finish is as dry as bitter. Lovely drop - really like how it holds its shape. [3.9] [6/20]Bump to overall score.
3.5 Third by keg at Purecraft. Patchy white head, unclear orange coloured body. Rings of lace down the glass. Promising aromas of peaches and citrus. Quite rich fruity taste of citrus and apricot followed by citrus shells towards the ending. Fine bodied. Likable. (Birmingham 03.02.2020).
3.7 Cask conditioned at GBBF Winter, New Bingley Hall, Hockley, Birmingham. Amber with white head. Cannot believe I hadn't had this before but glad I came across it now. Full and hoppy in character, orange bitterness, peel and zest, citrusy, grapefruit juice flavours. Good depth of flavour, hides the ABV well. A cracker.
3.6 Draft 0.25l at Het Lagerhuys, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. 01.02.2020. Pour it hazy orange color with small white head. Aroma orange peel, light mnago note. Taste tropical fruits, quite herbal and spicy bitterness, full body, thick feel, long finish. Interesting.
5.0 Tap at Besk - a NEIPA to rival the best of ‘em - crikey what stunning depth of stonefruit hop flavour - no usual soft NEIPA here, the firm bitter finish gets extra marks - this brew is flying the Geordie flag all the way to Perth, Western Australia - so, from this former Geordie to the Geordies of Wylam Brewery - good on ya!
Brutal.
3.7 can. golden hazy. nice oranges, a little orange zest, green berries, grapefruity citrus on nose. med bodied, nice pine in finish. all around nice. classic flavours.. clean and fresh. The kind of ipa i could drink all day.
3.9 44cl Can @ Beyond Beer, Eimsbuttel, Germany. Hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma is hops, citrus, tropical fruits. Taste is hops, citrus, grapefruit, pineapple, slightly malty and sweet. Medium body, average carbonation.
3.3 Sample@Ølfestival, København 2019. A hazy yellow coloured beer with a white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, hops, mango, citrus, sweetness and with a bitter finish.
3.4 How: Draught. Where: MBCC 2019. Appearance: Hazy amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma: Malt, caramel, hops, citrus, grapefruit. Body: Medium body and carbonation. Flavour: Malt, caramel, grapefruit, citrus.
2.3 Canned at Bishop's Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Cloudy orange colour, creamy head. Rich aroma of passionfruit and guava. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, hard mouthfeel. Guava and papaya, metal and saccharine. Metallic finish with low bitterness, some saccharine and hop burn.
3.7 On tap at The Two Tailed Lion, Leicester on 19-Oct-2019, served in a tulip glass. Hazy orange amber with a small white head. Aroma of tropical fruit and pine. Medium body and carbonation. Taste of malt, caramel, grapefruit, passionfruit, mango, pineapple and floral hops. Medium bitterness with a fruity finish. An excellent IPA. Bravo!
3.9 Pours a hazy, brown'ish amber coloration with a medium, foamy head. Smells of biscuity, slightly caramelly malt, citrus and lighter tropical notes of grapefruit, orange rind, mango and pineappple, with a profound dankness coming through as well. Taste is a great balance of sweet'ish biscuity, slightly caramelly malt and bitter, citrus hops, with ligher notes of tropical fruits and notes of grapefruit, orange rind, mango, pineapple, as well as quite a profound dankness and just a hint of pine. Finishes with a medium/strong bitterness and some dank, citrus notes lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with medium body and carbonation. One of the dankest IPAs I've ever had, in a good way, with some quite nice citrus and lighter tropical notes, rounded out by a great balance of sweet'ish malt and quite bitter hops.
3.4 Aroma; fresh exploded pomerance, mandarinish hops, juicy orange tart. Look; offwhite head on hazy dark peach body. Taste; hops, sap, fresh forest, resiny syrup, backbone of malts, and finishes balanced. Feel; good body n natural co². Overall; an ipa that doesn't scare anyone completely off, but more ipa than apa though. [tap@ Bishops Arms Luleå2019]
3.4 Tap@Sitko&Sori, Tampere, Finland. Medium, averagely balanced nuances of lightly bitter pine, grainy malts and medium hops. Medium taste spectrum and medium aftertaste with slightly hoppy bitter malts and fruits. Medium body with medium carbonation. Overall, nice quality schoolbook like British style IPA. 5 4 7 4 14
3.8 From tap at Van Moll Fest 2019. Aroma is juicy fruity hops with a light dankness, citrus, some pineapple, bittere orange peel. Flavour is nicely bitter, body is medium. Solid IPA overall, bitter but light dank.
3.3 Sample at MBCC2019 First Session, Copenhagen. Cloudy murky golden with small white head. Fruits, hops and malts.
3.7 Can from Cotteridge Wines and shared with mcberko in Kuala Lumpur. Poured a murky light brown colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is grainy malt, stone fruits, The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet, with a crisp, fruity, light alcohol woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.
2.6 440mL bottle, courtesy of jmgreenuk (thanks Jim!), pours an opaque cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is very yeasty, with lots of pithy stone fruits, and dank hops. Flavour is very pithy and muddled, with pithy stone fruits, lots of yeast, and earthy hops. Muddled and lacking precision. It’s alright.
3.6 Can, from Eel & Bear Hastings. Orange to red murk with a white head. Aroma is made up of pine, orange, bread, citrus. Taste is orange marmalade with pine, very classic old school combo, but restrained here with low bitterness and some stone fruit & mango that has a more modern feel to it. Very refreshing, medium body, with fine carbonation and a dry mouthfeel. Not mind blowing, but solid, well constructed and moorish.
3.3 Station Hotel, Shrewsbury. Keg half-pint on 24th July 2019. Cloudy body, dull orange in colour, wispy head. A semi-sour fruit smoothie of a beer.
4.1 Amazing cask. Tropical hops, haze, juice, all the fruit. Great smooth taste. About as good as it gets... Great on keg too but seems something special on cask. On keg it's got all the same joy and probably more dank hops, but it's such a difference to find something like this on cask... probably warrants a 3.8/3.9 on keg!
