3.4 Can brought by Lubka from Japan, thanks. Hoppy aroma and taste, malty notes, light floral notes and caramel, medium bitter. Medium body, hoppy and malty bitter finish. Ok.
3.5 Can, kindly donated by Wendigo, many thanks. Golden color with medium white head. Aroma of malt, citrus hops. Taste, solid malty base with citrus hops, zest, pines, bit caramel. Good.
3.2 Can at tasting. Pours golden color, white head. Aroma of citrusy hops. Taste is sweet, malty, caramel, tangerines.
3.8 good IPA
3.7 0,35l can shared @ Jeren Nappihalli. Pours clear golden with a medium head. Aroma is sweet fruity malts. Flavor is sweet fruity malts with some hops. Good, basic IPA.
4.5 Cheap 267 yen, 7% alcohol, nice IBU.Taste very creamy and nice. This is my perfect daily beer in Japan. I think it's number one IPA here.
3.5 350ml Dose. Klar und bernsteinfarben mit minimaler Schaumkrone. Citrus, Grapefruit, Kräuter. Herb. Voller Körper. Trockener Abgang. Sehr ordentlich!
3.2 Grapefruit, pine, citrus, cookies and heavy floral. Amber colour, medium white head, same flavour as in the nose, medium bite.
3.8 At less than 300 yen a can and at 7.0 ABV. it's my daily go to beer. Great consistent flavor.
2.9 Golden color, Brilliant Clarity, white beer head, with frothy, soft foam, ok persistence, sparkling body. Clear but not strong hoppy flavor, the character of hop should be citrusy, grassy, pineapple and floral. Medium sweetness, high bitterness, medium Carbonation, medium body. The malt support the body by malty, caramel and bread hints. Good fermentation. Low drinkability but good at sipping.
4.5 Ein schmackhaftes CraftBeer aus Japan: Yona Yona "Aooni" IPA. Wunderbar fruchtig-frisches IPA, Honigmelone, überreife Orange, Haferflocken... Großartig! Mein Favorit von der Brauerei. Schmeckt aus der Dose so gut wie vom Faß (in Tokyo in einer Yona Yona Bar des öfteren getrunken).
3.8 strong fruitly aroma. so hoppy that you shold choice strong food like chikens. never beat this. Bitter finish & aftertaste is like fresh fish liver!!However, great clean cup.It is one of wellmade IPA, no palette. StrongHop&ElegantBitter, that's all.
3.8 350ml can purchased in Tokyo. Issy, March 2019.
3.2 Faint hop aroma but a bit zesty. Bitter with a low malt background. Semi-dry.
3.6 Can from Conveni, Hakuba Tsugaike. A proper american style ale for sure. Old hops used well to deliver some fruitiness. Yummu craft.
3.5 この価格でこのクオリティ、そして広くどこでも入手できる。とても高評価です。IPAとしてのホップの苦みが確かにあり、フルーティーなアロマが感じられます。後味にホップが香るが、強すぎず料理とも頂ける。
3.5 Light, almost thin IPA. A bit too hoppy for a pale ale, so lets call it a very drinkable IPA
3.4 I know this beer well. Have bought it by the case and my friend even put it on the shelf in his local shop, sold it to me at cost and turned me into an addict. I like it. I hate it. I’ve just had it. It is an IPA American style. It has a punch no doubt. Hops are forward and overpowering and I like it for that. I’m a hop junkie. It does have a cloying aspect that I’ve grown to hate and I admit I rarely drink it, but my wife sometimes puts it in the fridge for me. Bless her. So. I return to those days when the only super hopped up option was Aooni and it blew doors on anything around here (I live in Hokkaido) and still under 300 yen, (230 yen from my buddy). Days when I was younger and the 7% sticky alcohol didn’t kick my arse and send me downward. My second Aooni is tonight’s finale and demise. No mas.
3.7 Ptja. Ganska standard. Men god. Doftar gott
3.6 Can. Golden clear, no head. Strong fruity flavory aroma. Medium-heavy body. Hoppy fruity taste. High carbonation. Bitter finish. Enjoyable ipa.
3.6 Surprisingly good for a West-Coast-by-way-of-Japan American IPA, with a solid caramel malt backbone and a clingy, resinous pine bitterness on the back end. Modest grapefruit and lime notes add citric flair, but the finish is all about the hop vitriol, a nice antidote to bland NEIPA fades. I could go for another pint...
3.6 苦味とコクが立つ、典型的なIPA。バランスの良さは感じる。7%のアルコールなのでふらっとする。
4.3 Surprisingly good American-style IPA brewed in Nagano Japan. From a can purchased at local Aeon (Kyoto). Classic West Coast style IPA flavor. Nice head. Pours clear golden orange. Decent carbonation even after sitting around to room temperature. Moderate bitterness. Very drinkable. Great value; just a few cents/yen more than the standard factory BS ‘beer’. My go-to beer while living in Japan.
3.2 Can. Pours dark yellow-orange with largish foamy off-white head, faint grapefruit aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter resinous taste, with a hint of citrus thin body, long resinous finish. Decent IPA.
3.8 Can sampled at works of beer Stockholm. Big and lastning white head. Light opaque solid golden color. Big hop aroma that have a herbal and leather touch. Nice balanced malty and bitterness. A medium body that makes this an enyoable IPA that goes down easy in large amounts.
3.0 葡萄柚苦 尾韻蜂蜜香 18/06/05@7-11
3.5 At a beef restaurant in Nagasaki, from a can. Excellent fruity, modern American style IPA with medium bitterness, enough malt taste to back up the hop bill. Clear light-medium amber color. Grapefruit and pineapple.
3.4 350 ml can with 7% ABV in Gora, Hakone, Japan. Clear amber body with a very good head. The aroma of this IPA is fruity, lightly spicy and bready Flavor: bold, even for style, with hints of citrus, tropical fruits, light bread, and light spices. Feel: medium body with medium carbonation.
3.8 I think this ipa is a bit aged, had some paint feels and aroma. The flavor is still nice though. A good hop. Definitely most of the cost of this is the cost of importing and the high cost of living g in Japan. Not worth $6 each at the liqoir store.
3.0 Quite a syrupy, piney IPA. Lots of bitterness too. Perhaps not enough sweetness to counteract it. Decent but not incredible.
