3.1Little hazy dark golden beer with thick white head. Aroma is hoppy, fruits and grass. Taste is sweet malty with nice bitter hoppy and grassy texture. Nice refreshing beer.
2.3This beer is great as an afterwork beer. Light beer, light color, great subtle taste. Good size 😊
2.6Decent looking in the glass good head well carbonated taste honey cereal small hops uninspiring golen ale.
3.2Bottle. Dark golden colour. Hoppy; floral & grassy hops. Citrus fruity; grapefruit & lemon, hint of honey. Malty base; sweet malts, caramel. Sweet malty with a mildly hoppy bite. Refreshing. Drinkable. OK beer. (2009-04)
3.1Bottle. Not a strong or hoppy beer. But very pleasant. A very fine foam and carbonation. A true ale in the british tradition.
2.8Backlog, ocena przepisana z untappd, w ramach uzupełniania profilu na ratebeer.
2.9Butelka 500ml. Ladny opalizujacy zloty kolor. Piana biala, srednia opada szybko. Aromat lekkich cytrusow ,chmielu. W smaku dosc cytrusowe z nuta rodzynek i drozdzy moze przez te drozdze i kolor przypomina mi pszeniczne piwo.
3.2500ml brown bottle from a mixed box of six "gold" beers from Tesco. I didn’t realise this was bottle conditioned. I opened it and put it on the table, got distracted, and then noticed a fine foam coming out of the bottle and forming a little puddle on the table! It’s light, crisp, and fresh. Fairly dry biscuit malt with pencil shavings hop flavour adding a little interest, but not much. Swirled in the yeast from the bottom of the bottle, and that helped the flavour, giving the malt a more rounded feel, and bringing out the soft citric notes of the hops. This is a useful beer to allow folks to notice the subtle but significant difference live yeast makes to a beer. Well, to a subtle beer. If this was a hop bomb for hop heads they probably wouldn’t notice nor care. Anyway, even with the yeast this is not a particularly characterful beer. OK, though.
1.9Pours clear golden with thin white head. Nose is malty. Aromas are sweet malts, herbal hops. Low carbonation, light body. Abrupt finish. Boring.
2.8Shared bottle at local tasting, fjØLøy edition.. Pours clear golden/amber, no head. Aroma of ripe fruits. Taste is moderate sweet, with a short dry finish. High carbonated, light sticky mouthfeel.
3.3Shared 500 ml bottle, as Young’s London Gold, bought in London. ABV is 4.8%. Clear golden colour, white head. Moderate aroma, some sweetish malts, hints of fruity and earthy hops. Medium dry flavour, soft and pleasant to drink, acceptable hops and a slight fruitiness.
2.4Shared bottle at RB/HD at Fjøløy 02.09.16. Clear golden. Quickly diminishing white head. Moderate aroma and taste, with some pale malt and hops. Hints of lemon and lime marmalade A bit too fizzy mouthfeel. Easily drinkable, but not very exciting.
3.0Weak and watery at first, but the aftertaste is actually the one that lifts this one up over approval. Nice and crispy and overwhelmingly refreshing.
3.3Bottle, 4.8%. Weak bready aroma. Clear golden colour. The head is white and frothy, but stable enough. The flavour starts off surprisingly malty. Then comes a more bready note, a bit like lager. The finish is nicely bitter, slightly creamy, and has a mild floral aroma hop.
4.0An english, amber, light foggy, golden ale with white head. Aroma is malt, yeast, light caramel, toasted bread, light hops, light prune. Taste is light sweet, bitter. Pearly.

2.6Copenhagen 11/4 2016. 50 cl bottle from Føtex. Silhouette of London and a golden goat on the label. Pours clear golden yellow with white head. Settles as thin layer of foam - almost transparent. Aroma is malty sweet with a little wet cardboard and a little sourness. Pretty strong carbonation for an English brew. Taste is medium bitter with a little sweetness for balance. This is not horrible or anything like that - but it actually reminds me more of a standard German pilsner than an English beer.
2.6Aroma: fruity sweet with berries.
Flavour: fruity sweet with a dry finish. Bubblegum notes.
Colour: amber with a white head.
From: Bilka Tilst Apr. 2016.

2.9Bottle. Pours clear dark golden with medium white foamy head. Aroma is malt, grain, lemon, hops, hay and hints of iron. Taste is light sweet, light to medium bitter and light to medium acidic.
