3.8 Zipfer Urtyp is a European Pale style lager beer brewed by Brauerei Zipf (Brau Union) in Zipf, Austria.

2.8 A surprise find of one of Michael Rudolf's top 100 at Family Mart down the road. Marketed in Taiwan as 'Zipfer Original Import' in a 500 ml. can. Aroma: sweetly yeasty. Appearance: clear light amber, negligible lacing. Palate: light-bodied and rather oily, carbonation on the soft side, noticeable yet brief bitter finish. Taste: lightly sweet and bitter, quite well balanced; vanilla, floral notes. Not bad, quite refreshing.

2.5 Klasické Rakousko německé alkoholové pivo o ničem. Zakoupeno 0.5l láhev v eurosparu v Retzu.

2.9 Puszka 0,5 litra, zakupiona w jakimś wiedeńskim markecie. Barwa złota, klarowna. Średnia, biała piana. Aromat raczej słaby, idzie w stronę słodu i lekkiego masła. W smaku trochę lepiej, czuć trochę chmielu, lekka słodycz.

3.6 Clear golden color, with a thin foam. A bit watery, malty aroma. Taste is so much better: starts with hops and a sweet taste and a malty, pleasantly sweet finish. Ingredients are in perfect condition and harmony.

3.1 Clear straw yellow with a large white soapy head. Aroma: grains, light spicy and coniferous hop. Medium minus body. Lively carbonation. Taste: clean, light sweet, light plus bitterness. Crackers, pine. Long hoppy aftertaste. Not a bad one.

3.1 Nicht das beste, aber doch ein durchaus angenehmes Bier. Leicht strohig, wässrig frisch mit Abschwung von Pappigkeit

2.4 Bottle from my father. Bready smell with some wheat bread. Similar taste. Light herbal taste. A bit rough mouthfeel. Slight artificial. Like most industrial lagers.

3.2 Nice clean and straw yellow colour with little head. Got some lemony scent, really pleasant. Good carbonation, very drinkable. Tastes kind of watery but it doesnt matter its still a good thirst quencher.

2.0 Wanted to try a new import, so bought on clearance for half off. Refreshing I guess.....not much doing though. Aroma seemed semi-skunky, but could be the age of the bottle. Flavor is a bit grassy, also tasted cornish....a little hop at the end which actually seemed like the best quality of this brew. Not something I would really care to try or buy again.

3.0 getrunken im Sommer 2018 Das Zipfer Urtyp ist ein sehr bekanntes Bier Österreichs. Es erinnert mich sehr an das Karlsberg Urpils. Die beiden haben nämlich einiges gemein: Es sind Industriebiere mit großen Absatz (gut, da gibt es viele). Und den meisten Leuten sind sie zu bitter, aber beide haben eine Fan-Gemeinde, die darauf schwören. DIe Bitterkeit ist auf jeden Fall das herausragende Merkmal, die es von anderen Industrie-Bieren unterscheidet. Es ist ein brauchbares Bier für Zeltfeste, von denen es in Oberösterreich viele gibt. EIn Bier, das trotz Zugehörigkeit zum Heineken-Konzern seine EIgenarten behalten hat.

2.1 klarowne, słomkowe, z nienajgorszą pianą. Aromat słód i kwiaty, smak podobnie

3.2 Licht Goudgeel, zeer helder, witte schuimkraag, weinig koolzuur. Aroma: Licht (pils) Moutig, iets spicy hop, iets Citrus. Smaak is hetzelfde als het aroma.... een redelijke bitter... fris en simpel bier.... zeer verfrissend. Lichte body, makkelijk drinkbaar.

2.7 0,5 l Dose. Goldenes Bier, weißer Schaum. Riecht leicht würzig, etwas nach Spülmittel. Schmeckt dann kräftig würzig, leicht malzig, leicht säuerlich, angenehm bitter.

3.4 0,5 can. Nice light yellow, transparent color, small white foam, medium-bodied. Malt grainy smell, smell very good, "clean." It reminds me of classic "rounded" German light beers. Malt, sweet, easy to drink, yet not wet, the bitterness is okay. That's what they put themselves in. A very good lager beer. I recommend. *** Szép világossárga, átlátszó szín, kis fehér hab, közepesen tarós. Malátás gabonás illat, illata nagyon jó, "tiszta". Ízre a klasszikus "lekerekített" német világos söröket juttatja eszembe. Malátás, édes, könnyen iható, mégsem vizes, a keserűség is rendben van. Ebben odatették magukat. Egy nagyon jó lager sör. Ajánlom.

Taste: Malt, corn, grains, bittersweet, hops, bitter aftertaste. Overall impression: Drinkable, tasty (taste is better than aroma), refreshing. There was some Zipfer on every Austrian concert that I attended, but never actually thought which one was it…was it Urtyp?

3.3 Fles 50cl thuis. Würzig, bitters, wat malt, hoptonen. (3-2016).-------------.

2.9 Pours light golden with a white head and a lot of bubbles. First impression is surprisingly sweet, some malt, some bread and a subtle bitterness. Drinkable.
